I think Multi step Picking and Dropping (before the Picked Material finally reaches its destination) is not possible from standard perspective.

Hi,

I want to pick material against a job after the component pick release, place it into a cart LPN, and then move that cart LPN to a staging subinventory/locator. From there, I want to issue the material to the job from that staging subinventory/locator.

In Oracle WMS, once material is loaded into an LPN, it cannot be moved across subinventories or locators. The only option available after loading is Drop, which directly issues the material to the job. What I am looking for is a way to introduce a two-step process:

1. Load the picked material into an LPN.
2. Move that LPN to staging, and then issue/drop it to the job from staging.

If anyone has achieved this, please guide me on how to configure it. We are also open to custom solutions.
