Re: ODA X10 - Multi user Authentication
No. Once enabled, multi-user access cannot be disabled. It is recommended that you provision the feature on your staging systems first, and then deploy it on your production system.

Re: Oda x7-ha show a disk in UNKNOWN state
Thank you for your response. We are working on moving production to other servers to execute these instructions, as maintaining business continuity is very important.
Re: Capacity on demand COD in oracle ODA: memory restriction
Dear kfekete-Oracle,
You are absolutely right. All databases should be on BM for better performance. But this decision was made before I joined the organization to overcome extra licensing issue. But from now onward we might move this instance from DBSystem to BM.

Re: single budget across multiple fiscal years vs. one new budget for each fiscal year
What is the best practice to set up an admin fee required with a benefit plan enrollment during OE
Hi,
We're seeking advises on what would be the best practice to configure a required administrative fee deduction associated with certain Plan Type(s) that employee would select during OE (self service) ? Is it better to set up this fee as a benefit plan deduction? or create a fee in EE's general deduction using a customized upload process?
Re: PDB remote cloning between different Editions (SE2 vs. EE)
hi, yes you can do it. I did it last year around 10 times. source must be either lower or equal patch level with target. if target is at a higher patch level then you must run datapatch after cloning and opening the database. I don't know what did you mean by "remote cloning" for sure but I used refreshable clone pdbs and everything went smooth. I had some issues but they are mostly related to our company policies. so in any case you must test it first but this is a recommended method to do the job.
Re: Hiding/Removing the HGA_EA_ATT step from HGAEARF
Hi this is Jill.
Please see my attachment. Admittedly, I did not add a row, but here are the steps I followed:
- Main Menu>PeopleTools>Activity Guides>Activity Guide Templates.
- To make it easier to find the desired template, click "Title" on the title column to sort alphabetically.
- Find Extended Absence Request Activity Guide Template:
- HGAEARQ002 - Extended Absence Request, which has the following Action Items under "Configure Action Items".
- Absence Information.
- FMLA Eligibility.
- Attachments and Notes.
- Review and Submit.
- I clicked the check box next to "Attachments and Notes".
- I clicked the 'delete' button to ensure it was no longer listed.
- I clicked save.
- When my users sign into the environment, the Attachments and Notes section is no longer there.
- See my test document.

Re: Secure 2.0 Act - PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM - PUM 47
Hi,
The following information is included in the Knowledge Document you referenced:
Bug 35707798 - BEN ADMIN ROTH AGE CATCH UP ENHANCEMENT
Enhancements for both Base Benefits and Benefits Administration for Section 603 requirements will be delivered in this and other related Bugs. Due to the need for further information from the government, the development timeline for this enhancement has been delayed. It will be delivered in a PeopleSoft Release Patchset (PRP) after Image 53 posts in September. The enhancement will then be included in Image 9.2.054, which has a target posting date of January 30, 2026.
That is the most recent information available. As of this date, we are still waiting for final regulations to be issued by the IRS for this Section of the Secure 2.0 Act.
Regards,
Joyce
Re: Does ODA support vTPM from Windows 2025 secure core reqs?
Yes — from a virtualization and OS support standpoint, Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) KVM guests do support Windows Server 2025, and it can meet the modern Secured-Core server requirements—as long as you configure the VM appropriately.

Re: Best practice when editing Offer Letters for new hires
Hello user10751434,
Audit Logging Would help greatly here, PeopleSoft has built-in auditing features that can be enabled on tables.
If you want to track every single change to the HRS_OFF_XXXX_DTL table (the main offer detail table), you would need to enable auditing on it.
This creates a separate audit table (e.g., AUDIT_HRS_OFF_XXX_DTL) that logs a row for every insert, update, or delete.
This provides a detailed, granular history of every change.
Please visit below link on creating record level auditing:
