Re: Autoupgrade Patching Multible Instances on same Host
You see, the problem is that I always use logic to understand, and anything that falls out of that, is weird. So you specify "dummy" because everybody knows there are two rounds and in this first round it then must be set to not the correct SID.
Wow.

Re: "This Dream Writer version currently does not exist" error in JDE E1.
From Oracle Support: thank you for the post Vivek.
Our ability to troubleshoot custom code is very limited; we would be able to work with you under an SR (Service Request) to validate that the standard program works correctly and that the configuration is correct, but not to look at your custom. If you do raise the SR, please attach a document showing the full Work Center message and the processing options of your R42565 version.

Re: Lot-Serial button in Receipt window
Hi,
When processing receipts for items that are both lot and serial controlled, the order in which you see the Lot Entry and Serial Entry windows is primarily determined by the Lot Indivisible attribute at the item level.
For an item that is both lot and serial controlled, to have the Serials screen appear first in the Receipts form (and other transactions), you must uncheck (set to No) the “Lot Indivisible” item attribute.
Explanation is below :
- Lot Indivisible = Yes:
You must specify the lot first and serials are then assigned to that lot (Lot Entry window appears before Serial Entry). - Lot Indivisible = No:
You can assign serials before deciding which lot each serial belongs to (Serial Entry window appears before Lot Entry).

Ionut
