Just wanted to give you an update on this item.

If you use PSHUP for off-cycles and set the DED_TAKEN and DED_TAKEN_GENL fields to N, they load correctly to the payline.

on-cycle payline loads via PSHUP set fields to default to the pay calendar for the on-cycle pay run id; but for the off-cycle, it takes and loads the value as it is in the PSHUP_TXN table.

This helped us provide a more concise/controlled business process for payroll, especially in processing adjustments after the employee has terminated/retired - using the appropriate earnings begin and end dates, we can use deductions as when they were enrolled in them such as pension.
