PeopleSoft -Expense Approval Email Collaboration – Include Receipts as Attachments
Hello,
We have implemented Expense Approval notifications using Email Collaboration in peoplesoft. Currently, the approvers receive the email with approval details, but we would like to include the expense report receipts as attachments in the email itself, so that approvers can view them directly before taking action.
Is there a delivered way to achieve this, or has anyone customized the Expense Approval Email Collaboration process to send the uploaded receipts as attachments along with the approval email?
Any guidance, best practices, or sample approaches would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rama
Re: How to enable future dated Self Service Life Events for Adding a Coverage and Removing a Coverage?
Hi,
As of right now, there is no functionality for having employees submit future-dated Life Events, but, of course, there is no restriction on an administrator just creating the Benefits Administration Event for them.
I see that you have already submitted an Idea in the Ideas Lab for this. We encourage other customers who might need such functionality to vote for this Idea. Development will be considering customer support for each Idea as evidenced by customer votes when considering future enhancements.

Joyce
Re: Why doesn't Transfer Invoice Charges use the ERV expenditure type from PJM Project Parameters?
Hi J.
I was able to find the following information.
While transferring Invoice charges (IPV, ERV etc for direct item POs) to PA, expenditures types should be the same as the direct item expenditure defined in the Purchase category association and this is controlled by the parameter "Direct Item Expenditure Type based on Purchasing Category"
This parameter will be applicable only to direct item purchasing transactions in EAM and can be set at the responsibility/user level. The default value will be "No".
If this parameter is set to "Yes", the Exp Type associated with the Purchase Category will be used while transferring the invoice charges to Projects. In cases where a Purchasing category is not associated with an Exp
Type, the Exp types setup in the Project Parameters/ PJM Org Parameter (for Common Project) will be considered.
If this parameter is set to "No", the Exp Types setup in the Project Parameters/PJM Org Parameter (for Common Project) for different components of invoice charges will be considered.
Thanks,
Shane

Re: How to default the Receivable Lease invoice to Batch standard when AR entry is generated
Hi Pere,
Thanks for your response in details to my query. Yes, I'm looking for an option to default the AR posting option to "Batch standard" like we can set on the run control from the Single action job.
The challenges here is since Peoplesoft is automating the single action job from Lease billing interface process, there is no user intervention. So the user can't use the option to select the Batch standard option from the run control. There must be some configuration mechanism to set up the default posting option. That is what we are looking for if any delivered functionality available.
Thanks,
Anil
How to default the Receivable Lease invoice to Batch standard when AR entry is generated
Hi,
We are looking for any delivered option to set the AR entry to Batch standard when the invoice is generated from Receivable Lease. There is an option to set Batch standard from Single action job from Billing but it is automated from Lease, there is no option to intervene manually.
THis is in Peoplesoft FSCM 9.2
THanks,
Anil
Re: How to create already accounted Miscellaneous expenditure against a project?
Hi Wei,
Yes, you need to uncheck "Raw Cost GL Accounted" in Transaction Sources setup. Also you can uncheck "Import Burdened Amount" if you want the system to apply burden on the transaction.
The same auto accounting rules will be used depending on the system_linkage field. If it is PJ , the miscellaneous accounting rules will be used.
For project version 12.2.11. You can include the transaction uploaded from the interface in budgetary control. (Note: This functionality is available for 12.2.10 via patch 36619066:R12.PJC.C.)
Overview of Budgetary Control for Labor-Non Labor Expenditures Enhancement (Doc ID 2908610.1)
This feature is not available in earlier versions.
Thank you,
Christine

Re: PO Creation Issue when carrier number is blank.
Follow up from Oracle Support: this post is now in the correct space Amit (Distribution), but the advice to raise a Service Request still stands; we are not able to troubleshoot issue that involve customer-specific data, and where log analysis is required, in a Community setting.
Please raise the SR and attach documents showing your full steps to duplicate the error, and the full log you have captured (jde, debug.log and JAS log).
With regards,
