The favorites were really very critical and elemental in our support to customers
We need them back
Ofcourse we can't remember every little doc we had already saved in the favorites over the years!!

I agree with everything you posted and would like to include Hot Topics? Does anyone know if those still work based on your old favorites. I used hot topics to keep in the loop on doc ids that get updated for releases. Like the Financial Aid release schedule for example. It was an extremely useful tool to keep informed without needing to check every single favorited document to see if it was updated. The new portal is a significant step backwards.

2025 Year-End Preparation: Processing 1099s - With New Portal Links!
To meet IRS 1099 deadlines, review your setup and data in advance and allow plenty of time to prepare and process the returns. Important tasks to prep for 1099 processing:
- Decide which method or combination to process 1099 forms: A/P ledger method, G/L method, or a combination
- Ensure address book information for 1099 suppliers/ companies is in a format that the IRS allows.
- Verify the person/corporation code for each supplier/company in Address Book
- Verify tax identification number (TIN) exists for each supplier that will receive a 1099 form. The IRS may impose penalties or fines for each missing or incorrect tax ID on 1099 returns.
- Gather IRS publications (for example 1220) and forms for the current 1099 reporting year.

This article says; "Certain legacy My Oracle Support Doc IDs have been migrated to new My Oracle Support Article IDs"
My experience at that all the Doc IDs that I use have been renumbered.
