Re: Is there a std JDE way of setting up invoice report not to send a pdf to customer based on item code
Hi
QQ, and what happens if there is more items in the order?
Crazy idea, change versions with the RD attached to not print invoices for that specific item (data selection), create a new version without RD attached that will print only that item…. but, another question, the idea is not to generate the BIP but create the invoice ? or for that item won't be any invoice?

Re: What is mean by AR Close Pending
Hi Abdul,
When there are any pending transactions exists, which needs to be accounted in GL.
Then we call it AR close pending.
Before closing the AR period, we need to process all the transactions and needs to account them in GL.
Warm Regards,
Chandra
Re: Debit memo generation for late charges
Hi Mallik
Late Charges would be calculated on the 30 days as first 20 days are already calculated.

Re: autoupgrade shutdown source db
Hello Christian,
This being an out of place upgrade using the target 21c home and thereby the source DB (of 19c) remains untouched.

Country Take Cancellation Rules Ignored and Finalized Absences May Be Cancelled
Hi All, Jill here.
Recently we had some entries to the community (and an SR) which reported that although the Cancellation Rules on the Country Take Configuration page were set to "All Events Except Finalized" users were finding there were some events, known to have been finalized, that were available for the employee and/or manager to cancel.
Our own internal testing did not reproduce this issue. In fact, if the events were in finalized status, they weren't even available under the Cancel Absences tile, nor was the Cancel button on the View Absences page editable.
Documentation provided by one of the customers gave the following screen shots and description:
-Screen shot of the Calendar Group table showing the date/time stamp of the finalization.
-Screen shot of Calendar Group results, showing the take for the date in question as part of the Absence data.
-Screen shot of Absence Event (only the first few columns) with with the caption "The administrator retroactively modified the event, via Absence Event, changing from full day to partial day."
What the user did not realize that such a modification (whenever the Admin takes action on an event in any process status) 'opens' the event and changes the status to "Not processed". "Not processed" is also not finalized, thus the event became available for the Manager or Employee to take action.
In the customer's case, the current Calendar Group was run, but not finalized. Upon inspection, they confirmed the status of the event was "Processed" (and open to cancellation).
Until that event is reprocessed and re-finalized, the system considers it an open event.
A Knowledge Document has been created to discuss this issue.
