Create employee data using Web ADI
- Login as user with Web ADI responsibility.
- Open Desktop Integrator menu. You will see HRMS ADI Create Document and HR ADI Seeded Integrated Form functions as the Submenus. If required, add these two submenus to Desktop Integration Menu.
- Launch Create Document from Web ADI
- You will see Integrator, Viewer Layout content and Review pages.
- Select 'HR Integrator Setup' Integrator and Click on Next
- Select the correct Excel version. Uncheck reporting checkbox because you are going to upload the data and not creating reports
Keep Content None - In the Review details click create content
- HRMS Intergrator Template will open up in Excel.
- Go to Excel Options and make sure Macros are enabled, Enter following details
- Metadata Type: CREATE
- Application Short Name: PER
- Intergrator User Name: <define your user>
- View Name: <BLANK>
- Form Name: GENERAL
- API Package Name: HR_EMPLOYEE_API
- API Procedure Name: Create_Employee
- Interface User Name: APPS
- Interface Parameter List Name- <Give Name>
- API Type: Procedure
- Click on Add-Ins on the Excel top menu. Select Oracle and Click on Upload. Select All rows and upload.
- Login as user with System Administrator responsibility.
- Navigate to Application --> Function
- Enter function and function name.
- Under Properties tab, select Type as Sub-function. Note down the User Function Name you have selected.
- Open the Desktop Intergrator Menu again and add the function created as above.
- Click on Create Document under Web ADI responsibility
- Select "HR Maintain Integrator Form Function Associations" integrator.
- Again you will see the 5 pages
- In the Integrator select application name PER
- Integrator User Name: Should be populated. If not, enter your Integrator User Name
- Form Function Name- Give the function that you created
- Click on the Oracle and select Upload to Upload into Oracle.
- Launch Define Layout from Web ADI in Oracle EBS R12
Your setup is completed.
- Launch create document from Web ADI
- In the list of Integrator, you should see the new integrator created as above.
- Select the new integrator
- Select the layout
- Finally a blank template will open up in your Excel.
- Copy and Paste Employee list.
- Click Upload.
- the data will be loaded to Oracle EBS.

If you are trying to create Custom Integrator you can follow steps below:
1.Check your IE and Excel/Word Settings
2.Add Responsibility Desktop Integration to your User.Select the ‘Desktop Integration’ Responsibility
3.Click ‘Create Document’ function
4.Uncheck the Reporting Checkbox as this integrator is for uploading. Select the Viewer as Excel
5.Select the ‘HR Integrator Setup’ as the Integrator.Click "Next"
6.Select Content as "None" as we need to create the blank document for upload and Click "Next"
7.Click on "Create Document "
8.Once the spreadsheet is created, enter the following details and upload it back into the system.
Metadata Type : DOWNLOAD – to create download integrators
UPDATE – to create download / upload integrators
Application Short Name : PER
Integrator User Name : <User Defined Name for Integrator>
View Name : <User Defined View>
Form Name : Name of the Form to which the integrator is to be associated
API Package Name : API Package Name used to Upload Data (Only for UPDATE Integrators)
API Procedure Name : API Package Procedure (Only for UPDATE Integrators)
API Type : PROCEDURE / FUNCTION
Click on Oracle -> Upload to create the integrator
9.Define a Function using System Administrator -> Application -> Function. This function will be used to restrict the Responsibilities for which a particular integrator is available.
Function = Internal Function Name
User Function Name = User Defined Function Name
10.Create the Form Function Association Document using Web ADI Menu –Desktop Integration -> Create Document
Select Integrator as "HR Maintain Integrator Form Function Associations" and repeat step 4
11.Select the application in which the integrator is defined and the Integrator User Name for the Form Function Association has to be done. Click Next to continue.
12.Click on "Create Document" and Attach the Form Function created in step 9 i.e.Internal Function Name to the Integrator in the document created in the above step and upload the same.
13.Define the Layout for the Integrator created in above steps using
Desktop Integration -> Define Layout
14.Select the integrator for which the Layout has to be defined and click Go to continue.
15.Select the columns that will be displayed and click Apply
16. Navigate to the Form which you have attached in step 8 and Click on Export Icon.
You will be able to view the Integrator.

We use the enableWorklistNotify property on the web profile configuration custom properties in order to continue using the Send Notification page for the notify button.

Yes, the page uses the classic version and functions the same.
