Re: I would like to have the price list on an order come up based on the customer account
Please clarify your setup. At what level did you associate the price list at? Customer or Customer Ship-to? Also, did you check your defaulting rules setup? Standard defaulting rules does not default the price list from Customer. It only looks at Customer Ship-to. So you may need to modify that.

Hi,
Please check this article

BIPRELD giving warning and no GL entries from billing
Hi,
There is some invoices that is marked BILL_STATUS = INV , CF_ACTION_FLG = Y, PRELOAD_IND = 1, ERROR_STATUS_BI = ' ',
but if you run MAIN MENU -> BILLING-> GENERATE INVOICES-> NON-CONSOLIDATED-> CREATE ACCOUNTING ERRORS and choose job BIJOB06K
it runs but gives a warning on BIPRELD and it does nothing to invoices , no entry to PS_BI_ACCT_ENTRY or PS_BI_ACCT_LN_STG. Is this part of the bug 23584863 and how do you fix it and how do I trace the error?
We have Oracle 12 database and Peopletools 8.55.
Regards
Re: BIPRELD giving warning and no GL entries from billing
Hi,
If you still have question and you still have problem with preload you can put -TRACE 135 on BIPRELD and see why invoice is not getting picked up for processing.
Thanks,
Deepa.

Re: Question about Flash Cache files and missing storage
Hi,
To my understanding, the file will not be recreated.
When an I/O error occurs on storage used for the flash cache, Oracle attempts to write out a large amount of diagnostic information about the problem.
This includes the alert log (alert<SID>.log), trace files for background processes and foreground processes (*.trc), and incident dumps.
These diagnostic files are typically created within the Automatic Diagnostic Repository (ADR), whose path is often located under $ORACLE_BASE and generally resides on the same volume as $ORACLE_HOME.
When a severe I/O error occurs, a large number of trace files and large dump files can be generated in a short period of time. This is believed to be the direct cause of the sharp spike in IOPS on the $ORACLE_HOME volume.

Re: Report publisher doesn not create PDF
The root cause is that it is run as BV and not as RD. For creating RD output, it should be run as RD and not BV. Open a service request to troubleshoot why it is not running as RD.
Re: Report publisher doesn not create PDF
If it is BV, then it is not a report definition (RD) job and hence it will not have any RD output. It will only have the normal UBE output.
