Anyone on 12.2x after applying these patches in hotpatch mode what services are you restarting after patching? Oracle has inconsistencies between the read me of patch 38501230 and doc 3106344.1?

Post-install Tasks
For 12.0.X / 12.1.X patches, you must complete the tasks in this
section before starting up Application tier services.
For 12.2.X patches, you may complete the tasks in this section at
any time after the update, without taking any services or users offline.
- Instructions for Bouncing Oracle HTTP Server [required]
Bounce the Oracle HTTP server as follows: - Shutdown the Oracle HTTP server using the following command:
- On UNIX:
$> sh $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adapcctl.sh stop - On Windows:
C:\ %ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME%\adapcctl.cmd stop
- On UNIX:
- Startup the Oracle HTTP server using the following command:
- On UNIX:
$> sh $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adapcctl.sh start - On Windows:
C:\ %ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME%\adapcctl.cmd start
Note: The above steps for bouncing the Oracle HTTP Server are applicable ONLY for patches being applied in the 'hotpatch' mode.
- On UNIX:
Doc states stop all services
- adop phase=apply patches=38501230 apply_mode=hotpatch
adop phase=apply patches=38501349 apply_mode=hotpatch - For Release 12.1, apply Patch 38501376:R12.TXK.B and Patch 38501349:R12.CAC.B in hotpatch mode.
After applying the patches, please perform the following steps:
- After sourcing the EBS 'Run' environment, run the following commands:$ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adstpall.sh -mode=allnodes
$ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adstrtal.sh -mode=allnodes

High traffic is expected 31-Oct as it is final day of the Race to Certification 2025 campaign.
If you have experienced an issue with taking your exam, we will make sure you’re able to take an exam. Please be patient while we work to resolve.

Using Parameterized URL
The Simplified Parameterized URL is a feature that enables an external system to launch a native JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application through the use of a simple URL. This feature provides external applications the ability to have a nearly seamless user interface integration with any available JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application.
When you select Parameterized URL from the Tools menu on a form, a Java Script Alert message shows the parameterized URL for that application. You can copy and paste the URL into a new browser page to launch the application.

Hi,
Thanks for asking your question on load test tools.
I cannot see any dedicated performance testing tools provided by Oracle to load test the Hyperion EPM specifically Essbase. You may consider using the third party tools like jmeter or load runner other tools to test as per needs.
