How to Search for Doc IDs in the New Oracle Go version of My Oracle Support
In the old version of My Oracle Support it was possible to search for Document using Doc IDs.
However within the new Oracle Go Version of My Oracle Support searching for Doc IDs does not seem to work.
Instead you need to search on the Title Text from the Doc ID or if you know it the KB ID.
As most historic documents only reference Doc IDs and frequently don't include the Title of the Doc or the KB ID then searching for it within the New Oracle Go version of My Oracle Support launched on 1st December 2025 is difficult as it does not list the appropriate Documents using Doc ID, although it will list multiple Documents that have the Doc ID in the body of the Documents.
E.G.
Searching for "Doc ID 2038363.1" list many Documents that references the Doc ID but not the Doc ID itself.
Searching for "EBS Order Management Sales Order Analyzer" will identify the Document now referenced as KB552468
Searching for "KB552468" identifies the "EBS Order Management Sales Order Analyzer" document.
Has the new Oracle Go version of My Oracle Support lost the capability of searching for Doc IDs?
Will Doc ID Searching on the new Oracle Go version of My Oracle Support version be re-introduced?
Are Doc IDs going to be replaced by something else E.G. KB IDs?
If they are, will the Documents in the knowledge base also be updated to references the new IDs?
Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
Someone decided to make massive changes and now, nothing is easy or can be found.
- what is UG?? did this replace CSI?? Do i have to ask my customer for access again so I can open SRs on their behalf. That's if I can figure out how to open an SR
- Where are my SRs? Its been days since i cannot upload logs. On that note, Oracle is soooo quick to close an SR if we are not responding everyday
- to open new SR, you can't just type JDE - stressful
- where is the update center? i have been looking for days
you've made a huge user community upset with the overhaul of MOS. it should be user friendly, that days of stress looking for things
I didn't write down any SR number, i have 10s of KBS that I referred to often that are no longer there.
Not to mention the 3 types of logins that make no sense to the user community - only to Oracle
Re: stb
Have you tried this in the new MOS Portal?
Try this link,
Else, search for this new doc ID: KB808098
Hope this helps.

Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
@Margi-Oracle
Unfortunately, it seems that inside Oracle or the users you don't get what we exactly mean
It's not just a simple mistakes or slips that's not working!! No, actually the whole function of the support portal is now not working. The simplest idea is when I'm searching for some errors or issues I'm facing in work and trying to look for solutions here on the support portal and this is the simplest function for my oracle support portal, When I do such a search, I get a whole bunch of notes that's even not related to the error I'm looking for. Not related at all, so is this supposed to AI enhanced support portal, this is support to be smarter. I'm getting nonsense. This wasn't the case at all in the old classic MOS
This is just the beginning, I still didn't talk about the so many other features lost!! I'm just talking now about the basics. The portal became useless and can't be depended on at all. I don't think that anyone inside Oracle get this meaning unless this was done intentionally because I know that Oracle engineers still able to check the old MOS internally so why we can't.
I opened and non technical SR and all the messages I'm getting that you're still migrating the docs!! and still you're working in the background!! what kind of support is this?!! you're taking whole week and still counting for migration!! how come?! We are database engineers, and we can never do this with our customers?! do you imagine us working on a migration project with a customer and tell them that we're gonna take weeks to migrate and his business has to be stopped during this period of time?!! would this be acceptable!!!
Our businesses are totally affected!! It's taking me hours and days to reach something I can use and most of the time I get nothing and I have to go in circles to reply to customers. Is this acceptable, unless you don't care about your partners!!
This is the big pictures, It's not just about some features or some points, It's about the whole function and idea behind MOS. I'm not sure if even this picture is well perceived inside Oracle.
Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
@Margi-Oracle Until/unless the Favorites we had curated/organized over years are transferred over (with the organization that the folders had provided) and until/unless the curated MOS Doc IDs they referenced are all also transferred over/accessible, this will remain a HUGE issue. The time value of being able to quickly/readily get to information that was used repeatedly, including seeing the date/time it was last updated to catch up quickly, is incalculable.
Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
I totally agree with everything said here
The favorites were really very critical and elemental in our support to customers
We need them back
Ofcourse we can't remember every little doc we had already saved in the favorites over the years!!
Please, bring back the classis MOS
Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
I agree with everything you posted and would like to include Hot Topics? Does anyone know if those still work based on your old favorites. I used hot topics to keep in the loop on doc ids that get updated for releases. Like the Financial Aid release schedule for example. It was an extremely useful tool to keep informed without needing to check every single favorited document to see if it was updated. The new portal is a significant step backwards.
Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
Oracle should do themselves a favour, drop this, and go back to the previous system. This is just dire.
Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
I am pleased to announce this has crushed me this week.
Oracle, why are you not throwing in the towel and keeping this punishment going for us ?
