Re: How can I get all 9 digits of precision in systimestamp?
One way would be executing OS command instead of SYSTIMESTAMP:
SQL> SELECT OSCOMMAND('/usr/bin/date "+%D %T.%N %z"') TS FROM DUAL;
TS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
07/23/25 16:56:24.343532143 -0400
SQL>
SY.
Re: How can I get all 9 digits of precision in systimestamp?
I've always seen triggers as being a sort of thing to use when all other methods wouldn't work, being a thing that exists and you can use, but the less you use them, the better. Sort of like symbolic links in Linux/Unix. You can use them, but the less and the shorter time you do, the better. I would guess insert triggers in addition to also be a performance thing as well, especially if doing mass actions. Oracle has built in functions left and right that can do similar or related functionality, with the same objective, and I would think it's a better idea to use these systems.

thank you for the detailed response
Re: What is the EOL date for Oracle LDAP 11.1.1.7.3 (ODSEE)
Dear Customer,
Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition 11g is supported by Oracle Support under Oracle's Lifetime Support Policy.
As per Lifetime Support Policy :
https://www.oracle.com/us/support/library/lifetime-support-middleware-069163.pdf
For Oracle Directory Server Enteprise Edition product Premire and Extended Support ended on 31st December 2022.
All versions of ODSEE are now covered under the Sustaining Support model. This means:
- - Sustaining Support provides access to pre-existing fixes, patches, and knowledge articles.
- - Certification on new platforms, patches/fixes, and security updates are outside the scope of Sustaining Support.
- - In addition, 24x7 coverage may not be available for products covered by Sustaining Support.
Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) is the next product to Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition (ODSEE).
Oracle Support recommends migrating to the latest version of our Java based directory server: Oracle Unified Directory Server. The latest version of OUD is fully supported at the Premium level of Oracle Lifetime Support.
Kind regards,
Gavril
