We are in the process of upgrading to Image 54 with PeopleTools 8.62 and have encountered a couple different issues related to prompt fields with Type Ahead/Smart Prompt enabled. The issues do NOT exist on 8.61. We cannot find where a similar issue is reported and wanted to check if anyone else has seen this when upgrading to 8.62.

A.) When creating a fluid Travel Authorization or Expense Report and you start to type only a portal of a location value (Travel From/Travel To/Default Location, etc.) and the value entered has only one unique location returned, if you click the TAB or ENTER key on your keyboard it does not populate the field and does nothing. In 8.61 the field would auto populate. Our technical team had submitted SR 3-42446716461 for this issue though so far they said they were not able to replicate.

B.) When creating a fluid Travel Authorization and start to type a location description in the Travel From and Travel To fields, then select a suggested option from the type ahead/smart prompt without using the look up magnifying glass. After populating the Date From the following issues occur: (1) The Date To field does NOT auto populate with the same value from the Date From field. (2) The Date field on the existing expense line that is configured to auto create, does NOT auto populate with the same value from the Date From field. Now click on the Plus (+) button to add a new line and nothing happens. The same thing occurs if you copy/paste the full location into the fields as well. However, if the user then goes into a modal page by clicking on the “Details” button on the existing line then clicking Cancel all the changes mentioned then occur at once. It's like the system is retaining the action and it doesn't occur until something happens with the component buffer. This issue does NOT occur if the user populate the location fields using the look up magnifying glass.

Additionally, we found the same type of issues on other pages in the system like on the AP voucher regular entry page where if you select a Supplier ID from the suggested values without using the look up magnifying glass then the Supplier short name, location, and address do not auto pupulate. It's not until you go to a modal subpage like through the Comments link and return then the updates occur automatically.

We would love to go to 8.62 so if there is any additional information that could help, please let me know. We will need to decide soon so it does not impact our go live any further and currently it seems like we may have to go to 8.61 due to these issue.
