Re: What happened to My Oracle Support?
The same thinking
I really can't take conspiracy theory out of my head
This, what has been done to MOS was never done by mistake!!! This was intentional from the beginning !!
Re: Do you enable firewall on an Oracle server?
Hello Yong,
Irrespective of the OS we do configure Oracle specific ports to be opened and as well as valid clients IPs that are outside of the network.

Re: Tax Year 2025: “Get Ready Campaign” for Supplier 1099 Year End Preparations!
The 2025 1099 ESU includes a new enhancement - TIN Masking!
A new processing option “Mask the Recipient's TIN” was added to the Write Media (P04515) to allow 1099 forms to be printed with the TIN number masked. Valid values are:
- Blank: Print the nine-digit TIN without masking.
- 1: Print the last four digits and masks the first five digits of the TIN. (for example, XXX-XX-6789).
ANNOUNCE: OS8.8.88 is Available on MOS!

OS8.8.88 has been delivered to the external support repository and MOS
It is available on the external MOS portal, ARU # 28314716
Re: Running Savings Age Catch-Up Extension in 2026
Hello, Albina,
Our (Support) understanding is that the As Of Date should continue to be 12/31 of the processing year. If we consider the fact that additional processing will not update any existing rows on the table, for now my recommendation is as follows:
- The first run of the year would be done after at least most of the wage adjustments have been done after year end processing (so maybe closer to W-2 processing. That run would be set to As of Date 12/31/2026, with Roth Threshold checked so that all employees who met the criteria for that are captured.
- Subsequent runs to catch new hires who meet the age extension requirements are run as per your organization's schedule, exactly the way you may be running them today. The Roth Threshold is now a non-issue because new hires are not subject to it as you would not have or need to have their prior year's FICA earnings.
We will be discussing this with Development in the next few days, so if there is an update I will post it here.
Regards,
Beth
Re: PO Receiving Issue - No Description
Hi Nick,
I'm in the middle of year-end activities and pretty busy with that, but I'll check in as I get more details. Thank you for your prompt responses and for helping with this issue.
Thanks
Re: New Tax Rate Effective 2026, Patch 38630519: 2026 U.S. FEDERAL WITHHOLDING TAX CHANGES
NOTICE: Clarification for REDELIVER 2026 U.S. FEDERAL WITHHOLDING TAX CHANGES
After review, the PeopleSoft Payroll for North America development team will not deliver additional changes for 2026 U.S. FEDERAL WITHHOLDING TAX CHANGES. The required updates are already included in PeopleSoft Release Patchset (PRP) 38630519 when applied as designed — to HCM Image 53 and then deployed to your target environment using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM). The gaps reported occurred because the PRP was applied directly to the target database rather than to HCM Image 53 and migrated via PUM.
Recommended action:
- Acquire HCM Image 53.
- Apply the relevant PRP to the image.
- Use PUM to select, compare, and deploy the updates to your target environment.
- Validate via compare reports and standard payroll/tax update testing to confirm values present.
No additional patches will be issued for this request, as the delivered PRP already contains the necessary updates when implemented through the standard PUM process. For assistance with PUM steps, please contact Oracle Support.
Re: Where have my bookmarks in Knowledge gone??
All,
indeed I can see some of my favorites, but it seems the migration is not yet over:
