Single Non-CBD 19.24
SID is orcl for both

db_name is ORCL for both(basically cloned on VM)

primary host o5-ol8db09

standby host o5-ol8db10

both installed database.

I am trying to build a Data Guard environment and am stuck on the RMAN duplicate phase. I am a beginner and feel like using the same SID is making it harder. Please advise on how to solve the error. If there is a step-by-step resource to build Data Guard, could you please share it? I am also unsure if RMAN is the best option for my situation. Please advice.
