A user receives an Unexpected Error when creating Work Orders via Mass Create Work Orders page.
Solution
A possible reason for this error is not all the required features are enabled in the account.
Per SuiteAnswers 27961, the following features must be enabled to use the Manufacturing Routing and Work Center feature:
- Manufacturing Work In Process
- Multi-Location Inventory
- Work Orders
- Assembly Items
- Project Management
Oftentimes, an Unexpected Error is encountered when the Manufacturing Routing and Work Center feature is enabled on the account, but the Project Management feature is not enabled.
