In the fast-paced world of business, efficient communication is key to success. A recent inquiry raised an important concern: how can we ensure that journal entry creators are promptly notified when their entries are approved? The solution lies in the powerful functionality of NetSuite's Saved Search feature, specifically by creating a Transaction Saved Search.
Here's a breakdown of the process:
- Go to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
- Select Transaction
- On Criteria tab, select Standard
- Set the following filters:
- Type : is Journal
- System Notes : Type : is Change
- System Notes : New Value : starts with Approved for Posting
