NSC | How Expected Ship Date in the Transaction Line Differs From Main Line Ship Date
Scenario: Expected Ship Date in the transaction line differs from the Ship Date in the Main Line.
Solution/Reason: The Expected Ship Date field becomes available when the Demand Planning feature is enabled. You may check SuiteAnswers ID 28004 to know more about Demand Planning. There are instances wherein Expected Ship Date is different from the Ship Date field in the main line. This is mainly caused by the availability of the item. Below is the behavior of the Expected Ship Date field:
- Expected Ship Date is based on allocated current inventory (today's date) or future supply (receipt date), whichever is the later.
