Can I add in the same sales order a inventory item and a non-inventory item?

I created a non-inventory shipping item and also a non-inventory insurance item.

I need to charge it to some of my customers, but since the sales order has inventory items included, it does not allow me to add any of those non-inventory items.

Is this possible? If not, any other way to do it?
