Another way is using custom records and suitescripts, you can create a child record to Assembly Item and track the changes using oldrecord and newrecord using suitescript and store the data if any changes are observed (mainly item changes).

Hi Janice, NetSuite doesn't store line level changes in system notes. Only header changes are recorded in system notes. However few transactions having item sublist have the option to see the changes in History link provided in the end of sublist.

Hi @Tom Meehan Kindly select the Relationship Subtab under Vendor record and click on Other Relationship button and select Customer in the pop-up dropdown field.
