Staying Connected During the Holidays
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle, yes we are. Thanks
-
Hi @Michelle Akins@Michelle Jabanes-Oracle Thanks, but what were looking for is everyone being able to see everyone else...not just managers/subordinates. Cheers, Nickey
-
@Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle no, what we'd like to do is have a custom field which displays the name of the user who created the revision. Currently this information is only available via system information on the BOM revision as far as I can tell.
-
We've just had this happen to us, is contacting support the only way to correct?
-
Hey @Caryl Buñag-Oracle Unfortunatly the issue here is that the saved search in question is locked so that's not an option.
-
Good Morning @Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle In this case we don't want anyone other then administrator to be able to edit this list which is being used by a custom field...
-
@rnedelkow-Oracle we have some custom lists that we need people to be able to add to and others that we don't want them to be able to add to so managing this at a permissions level won't work for us. Is there a way to manage who can create new list items specific to each list?
-
Hi @Michelle Jabanes-Oracle It says here they can be inactivated, how do I do that?
-
Enhancement # 695051
-
Thanks @Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle for clarifying, I do see that the script is listed and an alternate solution but I don't see where it outlines what the request is actually for...that it has to do with a workflow and mandatory fields. Ithere somewhere else that I can review the details of it? I haven't spent much time in…
-
Thanks for the info @Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle , that enhancement request is to set a specific deafult in the proejct template field using a script. What we need is just to make the filed mandatory so that it forces our users to choose a template rather then try to make a project 'from scratch'...is there an enhancement…
-
@Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle please see below...
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle that worked!! Thanks very much :-)
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle that got rid of the error but it's still not functioning as required. The below screen shot is an example of my current results, this item does not have a discrepancy and the last column qty doesn't make sense. Below the screenshot are the formulas used in the article (I did replace with binonhandcount),…
-
It's a different error, the formula (numeric) in the article (one of them) with 'equal to 1' as the result... case when {inventorylocation} = {binonhand} then 1 else 0 end inventorylocation is the written name of our location, binonhandcount is a number.
-
@Ivy Lopez-Oracle, from what I can tell in the article the field {binonhand} is the location of the bin not a number so that doesn't worok.
-
Good Morning @Jack Daryl Espiel-Oracle Thanks for sending through those suggestions, this does lessen the places from which a user could send a PO but still leaves the communication tab and even if we removed that permission it leaves 'Create New => Email'. What we need is a way to fully prevent a PO from being printed or…
-
Good Morning @Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle I created a 'PO Confirmed' button that appears when the PO is sent, this allows the user to click the button which checks off the 'PO Confirmed' box without having to edit the PO. As noted the unfortunately still cannot update this box via the saved search, but this is much better then…
-
@Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle That's correct and exactly what I was hoping we could do, but digging into why some roles cannot edit within the search I found article 32639 which states in order to allow that you need to uncheck 'restrict time and expense' by role which would also allow users to see and enter time & expenses for…
-
Hi @Joahnna Given Uy-Oracle Thank you for reviewing this question, your understanding is almost correct...the only difference is that we need many different users to check off this box as required, when the vendor of their PO confirms the order back to them so it's not practical to use an upload in this case unfortunately.…
