In 2008.1 you can set the font on a custom element to "Bar Code". Is it now possible to add a corresponding barcoded Fulfillment Record ID Number to a "Packing Slip" or to a "Picking Ticket"? It would show if the fulfillment record exists and it would just be blank if one doesn't exist. I realize that many people don't…

I thought I solved it becasue it previewed on the PDF form, but it didn't show on an actual packing slip form. It isn't possible to add the barcoded "Item Fulfillment Transaction Number" to a packing slip in NetSuite. I spent over a hour on the phone with NetSuite and they couldn't figure out a way to make this work. We…

The bar code # is always related to the transaction you're printing. In the case of a picking ticket, the form is based on the sales order so that is the # that is bar coded. OK, but there's more than one record that is related to a sales orders and there's more than one record that is related to a picking ticket. So, can…

So, the problem is that the fulfillment doesn’t exist ?!? ...or is the problem that changing what record type is referenced in a barecode isn't possible? I don't see the missing fulfillment record as a problem. If we told it to print the PDF pick ticket and the fulfillment record didn't exist ...it would put <null> at the…

OK, Elham. Forget my specific request. Assuming that both records exist. Can which record is barcoded on forms be specified or are we stuck with the defaults? -Tom

Similarly, packing slips are based on item fulfillments so they display a bar code of the fulfillment transaction #. You say that the packing slips should have the fulfillment transaction number. Both our "pick tickets" and "packing slips" only have the SO number barcoded at the bottom. In 2008.1 you can set the font on a…

I solved this one. I was tricked by NetSuite's constantly changing field names. I was looking to add the "Fulfillment Number" or "Fulfillment Reference number" as a custom barcode element to our Packing slips. Well, the field was called "Ref No" in the list of available fields. The proceeding word "Fulfillment" or "Item…

Check this one out.... http://go.joleado.com/ It is built on oracle by a company deeply schooled in NetSuite workings. It gives some powerful conversion tools to your chat operators. Some of the features you won't find on other chat systems...

Custom sales forms right in the chat window.
Custom surveys right…

They could also save chats to a custom NS field. To me chats should do more than provide a way to talk to customers. Chat should also lead to more conversions. Without these features, "some businesses" would miss conversions. The type of business would influence the usefulness of these features ...

Custom sales…

Hi David. SephQ, Yes, we use it but take note that we still have some issues due in part to incomplete netSuite documentation. For instance, we've got a pull-down option for new customers to choose their industry. The SuiteAnswers example for adding custom fields isn't 100% relevant to v2-04-0 and as a result customers can…

There are a number of Site Builder Add-ons. Are you saying that you found one simply called "Site Builder Add-on"? That would be like an ios app just called "app". Not saying it couldn't exist, but it is new to me.

I've seen those instructions. They're very old and haven't been updated to these new requirements. Ours stays on the "original domain" through all but the checkout. I don't have your "changing domain" issues or any issues with how ours behaves. Just trying to get details about what we need to do to comply with the changes…

Well, we set ours up over 5 years ago and our cname has always pointed to shopping.netsuite.com .. so, can someone at NetSuite tell us if we need to do anything to "A(host)@" which currently points to an IP address?
-
I assume for your problem you tried the netSuite online help files? No "problem" here. You will also have to make the DNS/CNAME change that I'm talking about. It was all in an email from NetSuite titled "DNS Settings Changes Required for...". Search your email and you'll find the same notification. Then maybe you'll need…

No answer, waiting on clarification from NetSuite. NetSuite, can you clarify in here?

I remember setting that up back when we got started in NetSuite. The prefixes were definitely optional. I thought it was at "Set-Up ->Company->Auto Generated Numbers", but I was wrong as I don't see it there now.

We used to see that error in the first version and still can see that in the first version when I deployed the old one. StephQ, When I go to the "Execution Log" tab on the Reference My Account SSP application settings area. It has these three errors each time I attempt to view an old order in "My Accounts"... Error ....…

Fixing the NetSuite mini-cart /cart summary so that it actually works with a site builder site (that uses reference checkout) is an enhancement ...and not a bug. That should be a clear indicator about the future of site-builder development ...in case there was any doubt. Issue Number: 324521 Type: Enhancement Severity: S3…

...if you're using a combination of Site Builder and Reference Implementations, you can create the "mini cart" by simply using JavaScript/HTML. We have some customers who already implemented that. I would think that this is not an exceptional use scenario. NetSuite makes the Reference checkout available to Site Builder…
-
I should say our site builder store's theme has pretty much nothing but <NLPORTLETCONTENTS> for the content of its "CART SUMMARY PORTLET TEMPLATE" . And what it serves up with <NLPORTLETCONTENTS> is not compatible with reference checkout.

Well, I'd help, but you're getting way more out of it than we are. This is all our customer's see...

NetSuite says: The mini cart we're using was created via the NS tag <NLPORTLETCONTENTS> which is intended to be used only in Site Builder sites. Our store is a Site Builder site, but uses a reference checkout/cart ...so, a hybrid. He then says that... There must be a different way or approach to add a mini cart without…

Also, see this post if you're using reference checkout/cart with your site builder site.

NO. We tried it. Had errors and reported them to NetSuite. No fix ever came. We turned it OFF. To make matters worse... pretty much ZERO new ecom features for sitebuilder users in v2014.2.
-
It does look great. Nice job and thanks for sharing. When I saw the title of your post, I was hoping that you'd developed something that we're looking for. I'd like a feature like this that combines the "manually related" items and the correlated items into one seamless list. Lets say that we want a maximum of 5 items. So,…

Try Nextopia. We've been happy with their service.

jwenzer, I hope you are wrong. I hate that fuzzy pricing model. I found a little more information here (nothing about pricing though)... http://ignitecommerce.com/netsuite/

"Tools that Plug and Play with NetSuite" Nice tag line. It describes what we've been wanting for some time. Most web store improvements however are not "plug and play". Most NS webstore improvements require programming knowledge and/or a 3rd party developer. Now with two separate Ecom platforms, it seems like NS is…
