While the answer didn't solve my problem yet on the restriction, we did built custom approval workflow and based on next approver field the approver is pulled, and the department restriction is driving the approval process.

We have tried adding tax code at vendor record level, vendor-subsidiary level, still it doesn't default the tax code.

It does, thank you so much, is there a chance we can change the category name I know we cannot edit them but the client won't use the default categories we have for now and needs to be renamed TIA!

Hi Nina, thanks for replying. My client insisted on getting these removed even after explaining the impact it would cause and also not a recommended practice, she atleast want these records to get to the bottom of the page.
