Angelika, have you changed or tried changing the settings at setup-accounting- setup accounting- ordering shipping? I don't have time to test or mess around in there, but that seems the first place to look- let me know if this doesn't help, and I see what I can find. crazy busy right now, but look out, my kid got her…

case # is 549143.

Glad to hear it! You should be all set, then. There may or may not be a different way to do this, this is just the way I would approach it. Good Luck!
-
I don't know if this is a different problem or not... But it seems on my end if we pick items, then a change is made to the order (might not even be one of the lines we picked) then the whole order gets re-committed and comes out as a pick ticket again. This is very bad for us...we don't want to be double-picking orders.…

thanks for getting back to me. I like the idea of the custom updated field on a sales order--- we were trying to think of a way to just notify the warehouse, like you said. What flag/value shows me that an order has been updated? I'm recently new to netsuite so I don't have all the in-outs quite yet. Thanks! not sure what…

yep- I have noticed. I don't have an answer as to why, but I am sincerely grateful for all the discussion in here. This is where we can really get a good grasp on what to expect- from each other, if nothing else. Would be nice if they actually made an effort to at least reply to each post- even if it is just to acknowledge…

Fulfill Based on Commitment Show Drop Ship Items on Packing Slips I'll be sure to stay off the road next weekend!! What are your settings for these two choices? (and yeah, trust me, wish I could stay off of the road myself, problem is, I have to ride with her.......)

Hi Tim, We saw this as well yesterday. We have also had it happen periodically in the past, but without regularity. I was in NS on saturday, after our upgrade, as well as this morning, in multiple tabs, without issue. It seems to be working itself out- perhaps it was related to the load capacity yesterday. NS- please…
-
Thanks, Evan- it really wasn't much of a problem, just made me wonder- although, nice to know why.
-
scratch that- it went through- now that I asked- that figures.
-
Has anyone else seen this since they were upgraded? I don't know if this came with the upgrade, or was tweeked before, as I waited for the upgrade to fix my other bin problems. I found that if I add back the original bin in the process outlined above, the original bin still has an on hand quantity. Now I know where it…

I don't see this at all- are you using regular or advanced search?
-
So this is not related to the 11.0.6 release? That is what I am primarily trying to find out. Since I have not seen this happen in the past, and I do many reports all day long, if this was active before last friday, then it should not affect me much- unless we have days like yesterday. Thanks in advance for your…
-
NS- can someone please answer my questions above?
-
Well what do you know? I guess it is just me then- ;) wouldn't be the first time. Thanks for the clarification Angelika. Angela
-
May I ask when this change was made, and is it permament? If it is new, then it should not impact me much, because today is the first day I saw it. However, today is also the first day we are live on 11.0.6. Hi Again, Evan, Can you tell me if this is in the upgrade, or has it been running before that? I really need to…
-
Evan, that does not sound very promising. I typically run many searches and reports in different tabs- compiling data for more intensive reports. Once I run them, I export them, and this is also where I saw the error today- doing an export on one caused another search to abort. I hope this isn't ongoing. May I ask when…
-
Thanks again, Evan- even with all of the frustration this week- your wonderful. We all know that sometimes s^&t happens- don't let it get you down. Angela
-
Hi Tim, This is not what we are talking about. I think the errors you saw yesterday were due to the wacko crap that was happenning to all of us. What I am talking about here is the capability to run multiple reports at the same time. For example, If I run one report in one tab, and begin another report in a different tab,…

From the layout you can edit "subsections" and see the accounts. From the section view you can edit which account falls in to that section. You can also edit the section from the account level. -Andrew My entire question is simply- will having done it this way cause errors. yes or no?
-
Jamie, Before you 'flip the switch' and turn on bins, you may want to look over this thread: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=3603&highlight=bin+management Bins do work in NS, the key is understanding how they work before flipping the switch. Have fun!
-
You put accounts in to sections and then adjust or arrange the sections in the layout. Also note that an account can only be in on secretion so if you plan on using different layouts define sections more narrowly and add multiple to a section. As a test print off a financial statement with the standard layout and then the…

So that fact that I have serious unresolved bin issues will prevent me from doing this. Oh well, can't say I didnt try.....
-
Angela - what issue is this - 121686? Thanks, -e Thats the one- according to my support cases, it was closed at 4:56 pm on Friday.....
-
Hi Angelika, Since I can vouch for your organization of your store, and I am also learning all there is to know about Bins, I think there is a easy way to do this for you, using a combination of your item numbers and some good bin usage- The trick to the bins is that they DO work, but not as one would logically assume. The…
-
Angelika, Since I just got word from NS that they have closed the case on my bin errore- as it is "Status changed from Pending Investigation to Pending Development Assignment"- is short, the fact that adjustments cannot be made via inventory adjustment, except for one item (bin) at a time, I would recommend that you NOT…
-
The case is closed but the issue remains open and assigned to the product team, which means it will be looked at and potentially worked on soon if the product team agrees it's a problem not an enhancement. It is currently classified as a problem. Thanks, -e I would certainly hope so, Evan, as it is a MAJOR problem for me.

Ray, I had some thoughts on this. Often, what is happening, is we receive an order- some of the items are in stock, so the SO is a regular SO. However, if some of the items are special order/ dropships, some are not. We then use the drop ship PO form, if necessary. This is where I suspect we may be going wrong. Will using…
-
Drop shipments (non inventory) versus special orders or inventory are not your inventory. So there should be no inventory impact. No ?. A sales order - no gl impact. A po (dropshipped) - no gl impact. Receive PO - no gl impact (automatically fulfils SO) bill PO - cogs increased. bill SO - revenue increased. are you sure…
-
Angelika- since I know your system, as well as how many items you have, I would advise against flipping bins on at this point. It seems I am the guinea pig for bins at the moment, and they are turning into the bane of my existence this week. I will let you know when I have resolution, as I rattled enough cages this morning…
