Asset proposals are driven by transactions. If you are using the asset proposal - the linked transactions should already be available. ~angela
-
You will need to 'revalue' your assets. This is a transaction type within FIxed Assets. Whatever impact you would like to do should be done via this transaction. See Suiteanswer 21814 Applies To Product: NetSuite 2021.1 SuiteApp: Fixed Asset Management 21.1 Scenario Using the Asset Revaluation process to Increase or…

When you enter a vendor bill that posts to a fixed asset account, that bill will then drive an asset proposal. When assets are proposed, you can either approve or reject the proposal. So the answer to your question is yes, you can link a vendor bill to a Fixed Asset. ~angela

When NetSuite begins to behave weird, it's often a cache issue. Have you cleared your cache recently?

You should be able to add a supervisor to an existing employee using direct list editing. Edit the list of employees to show the supervisor field, and click the direct list editing button. ~angela

You won't be able to set a brand new depreciation start date. You can set the depreciation active to false, but that won't update the asset's entire schedule. You can set the depreciation to recalculate over the remaining periods, (setting found on general subtab 'revision rules') but you can't actually stop depreciation…

I can't see them. If the memo field on the quote is set manually, then it should carry over to the SO. If it is being set by a workflow, it should only be set on the quote, so that it can then carry forward onto the SO. Make sense?

You can add 'amount - foreign currency' to your reports, to show the amount in the currency for each subsidiary. You won't find a way to show the entire report by a specific currency, as currencies are driven by the base currency from each subsidiary. ~angela

There will be an update to the asset value when you 'revalue' your asset. On the asset record under 'general' subtab, if the Revision Rules are set to 'Remaining Life', then the amount of the revaluation will be spread out across the remaining periods. If you have it set to 'current period' - all 'paused' assets will have…

What is the defect number? My users are heavily impacted. ~angela

OK, from that screen, mark all to commit the items. What probably happened is the work orders were created prior to receiving the items in. When this happens, you have to allocate the items to the transactions. ~angela
-
You could try adding the criteria of: Applying Transactions : Type = Invoice & Cash Sale, then on your results, instead of amount billing transaction, update that to applying transaction. Let me know if that works for you. ~angela
-
If you navigate to Transactions-Order Management - Reallocate Items, and plug the item number in with the location - does it show any on hand that you can reallocate from another commitment? ~angela
-
On employee records, birthdate includes day, month & year. You could create a custom 'text area' field to capture birth month & Day, but that will be subject to being filled in properly, since it's not formatted. ~angela
-
You can't 'share' an outsourced charge item. You will need one for each of the different costs. ~angela
-
OK, so the field on the transactions is native memo - meaning that it will not automatically populate from the customer record. Can you pull up a quote that has the Memo field populated from a customer record, go to 'system notes', and capture a screen shot of the system notes? Also, if there are any notes under the…
-
On your Quote, you mentioned that the 'Memo' field captures the information from the customer record, correct? Can you click on the 'memo' field on the quote, and screenshot the field level help?

OK< Got it. In your saved search, on the summary criteria, you have 'internal id' count is greater than 1. The issue with this criteria is that the internal id is not duplicated, the Document number is what is duplicated. (The internal ID cannot be duplicated by design). If you update this filter, your search should send…

Yes, this is the custom field on the customer record. Navigate to Customization Lists/Records/Fields - Transaction Body Fields to find the custom field on the quote & Sales Order. If you can take a screenshot on that custom field, I may be able to assist. ~angela
-
The information you are looking for should be found in the depreciation schedules/entries. All activity you described can be found within the depreciation entries. ~angela
-
Option A. Expense limits don't apply to purchase requests.
-
Is this 'memo' field the native field, or a custom field? If it's a custom field, is 'store value' checked? ~angela
-
If you set allow override to false, won't that fix the issue? ~angela
-
I tested this in 3 different demo accounts, and in each account, a memo on the quote carries forward to the Sales Order. Can you provide specific steps you are taking where you see this behavior? Also, on your Sales Order, under system notes, do you see any active or history of a workflow? ~angela
-
Hello, This may seem a bit odd, but why would you have the setting that allows duplicate invoices to be created enabled? If you disable that setting, would your issue resolve itself? I'm curious. ~angela
-
Hello, If you can navigate to the actual item receipt that these were generated from, you can edit the receipt to assign the bin. Try that, and if it doesn't work, let us know and I'll do some other troubleshooting. ~angela

Hi Vernita, You have 2 options, option 1 is to expense the landed costs. Option 2 is to revalue the planned standard costs. I'm sorry if this is not the answer you're looking for, but I believe these are your options. ~angela

Duplicate Detection works on records, not on Custom fields. You could write a script to block the save of whatever records the custom field applies to - but Natively, this is not available. ~angela

I think that the answer you are looking for is SuiteAnswers 33566.
