Depending on what is in the original workflow, you may be able to tweak that one to work together with the approval workflow. Are you using suiteapprovals? If so, you can inactivate the workflow deployed, and use Suiteapprovals instead. It's difficult to guess without any idea of the actual context of the original…

I would definitely recommend that you file a case.

You might try adjusting the % allocated to the sales team to more than just the primary. Right now, your primary is 100% allocated. Might be worth a try.

It sounds as though someone has edited the default sublist search you are viewing. Go to>Customization>Forms>Sublists Under 'transactions' - look to see if someone has linked a saved search to "related records'. If you see it, someone has replaced the native sublist with a custom search. I hope this helps!

If your connector is set up to accept customer deposits, you won't be able to create cash sales. The reason is simple - when billing an SO with a customer deposit, you MUST create an invoice from the so for the deposit to apply to the invoice. You cannot apply a customer deposit to a cash sale - since the charge for the…

I would be interested in other peoples insight here. (strange that nobody will comment?) This would affect every account that uses Suiteapprovals- and using inactive suiteapproval rules for approval routing cannot be the norm.

I got my answer from Support. I am in awe that this is an enhancement and working as designed. Thank you for contacting NetSuite Customer Support. At this time, the feature you are requesting is not available within the NetSuite line of application services. We do have an Enhancement Request logged for this feature request…

Hello, If you're COA's are not the same in the different systems, then a manual account map may be required for any imports. You cannot tie an account from NetSuite to an account from an external system without having a conversion map. My process is to create an excel spreadsheet of the accounts, with a Column of accounts…

Hello, You have to have departments showing in order for them to be populated and required: Go to the upper right corner of the form you were screenshotting- click 'Customize form' (edit mode) When the form appears, go to sublist fileds, and click the box next to Department. Save Voila- Department is now visible on the…

When a sent email is blocked by the users email domain, NetSuite won't continue to send messages to that email. To ensure NetSuite does send emails to users with prior bounces, go to Lists- Relationships_bounced emails, select all and delete. What this does is resets the emails to be sent again, regardless of bounces in…

Any user role that needs security should use the 2FA. The need for the security is 100% determined by the company as far as what information is deemed critical. 2FA adds a level of security that includes any logins from a public computer etc. Administrator has no restrictions by definition, so that is always 2FA. It is up…

I don't think you understand. The administrator role can NEVER USE SSO OR SAML! If you log in as an administrator, you will not see any of the roles you have assigned yourself that are SSO. You must log in using SSO to access any role that has SSO assigned. Log out as an administrator. Then log is using the SSO login you…

If the asset has a value in the 'Asset Current Cost' field, the asset value is still showing up on the balance sheet. To truly dispose of the asset, you'll need to 'dispose' of it in NetSuite. (You don't have to sell it to do this). You need to ensure that the assets have a write off account defined on the assets. Once…

You're correct, you cannot do this via an employee self service portal due to the sensitive nature of those forms and the data. What you CAN do is send the forms to the employee via a secure channel like docusign, and then store those forms on the employee records. Hello @User_Q1DPO If you're talking about sales orders, yes, there is an 'approval status' field that can be set back to pending approval in the UI. However, if you have approval rules that lock editing of that field, you may need administrator access, or a browser extension, to use is. You're ability to put it back to…

The number of login attempts is 6 - and won't change. Sorry it's not the answer you want.

I believe that you're out of luck. All field labels display in NetSuite as all caps, always. There's a possibility that I'm mistaken, but I don't think so. Sorry it's not the answer you're looking for.

You need to map the external ID. Without this, you will have bills merging into one bill. Sorry it's not the answer you want!

But there is already a field on the customer record that shows the bucket of 61-90, and another bucket of 91+ days overdue, so you're confusing me. The overdue balance shows to total amount overdue. You won't be able to change what it shows. I suppose you could create another field that shows only 61-90 days overdue - but…
-
You won't be able to update the native field, as that captures the entire overdue balance. The native fields on this screen can't be edited to show different values. Right now, you can clearly see the 61-90 days overdue on this screen. So if I'm understanding you correctly, you want to have the 'Overdue balance' show…

Ah, I'm sorry, I misunderstood the ask. My apologies! Good Luck with your search!

To use the date buckets you'll need to separate them via saved searches. This is how the Dunning Module does it, too. Create a saved search with your date bucket of 31-60 days overdue. Use the search as the criteria in your condition. Hope this helps!
