Got it. So far, have you noticed any discrepancies in the imported data upon applying these changes?

Hi @Mjdk99 If you’re using Bank Feeds and linking everything to one GL account, you won’t be able to separate which expense goes where. It will just import the transaction details exactly as they appear in the bank. Unless, your bank have a unique "memo" for each cards. Hope this helps. Regards, Ayie

If you’re no longer able to open the Accounting Period, you can create a reversal entry in the new period instead. However, whether to post it in the new period or reopen the previous one is ultimately up to the discretion of your Accounting team. Hope this helps.

Yes, you’ll need to adjust it manually since it already ran and recorded the incorrect depreciation entry. Once you correct the incorrect entry and by either removing it or changing it to zero in the depreciation history, your Asset report should update correctly as well. For the Journal Entry, you’ll need to make an…

Hi Panadick Based on the information you provided, it appears that the asset has already been adjusted and is now generating your expected Depreciation History. Hi Panadick Just to confirm, based on your example, you’d like the “108,333.33” amount changed to zero, while retaining the correct adjusted amount of “116,666.67”? Let me know if I understood that right. Regards, Ayie

Hi @Elina Kourouzidou Can you provide a screnshot of the DHR for both the parent and child asset that looks like this: You may cover any sensitive information but kindly seperate the screenshots for Parent and Child as I am trying to recreate this on my end. Thanks!

Hi @Aaron McCausland Just to clarify, how did you add the custom code "856"? Did you communicate this with your financial institution as a custom code? For reference, I used SuiteAnswer 1023948 for the standard BAI2 Transaction Codes. Thanks and regards, Ayie

Hi @Elina Kourouzidou Just to clarify, do the Parent Asset and Child Asset have the same Asset Type? If yes, do you plan to run the depreciation on the Child Asset regularly (just not the same time with the Parent Asset)? Thank you and regards, Ayie

Hi @Karen See Since you are referring to this search, the values generated are captured on the Asset Record. However, we confirmed that these values cannot currently be updated through the UI. After further testing and investigation, I confirmed that this is a current system limitation covered under Enhancement 237902:…

Hi @Divya Unnikrishnan , As far as I know, there is little difference between creating a lease from scratch and setting up a mid-life lease. However, additional steps must be considered during setup to ensure the mid-life lease functions properly. The Mid-Life Lease box on the Lease record specifies whether the lease being…

Hi @Karen See What report are you generating? If it is a standard report generated under Fixed Asset Module, you may need to update the Depreciation History and not the Fixed Asset itself as these are two different custom records. First off, you'll have to create a saved search for Depreciation History. Then you may need…

Hi @Karen See , To import disposed assets, you may review Guidelines for Importing Fully Depreciated or Disposed Asset Records. Based on the file, you can only update the Last Depreciation Date as there is no standard field for "Disposal Date" when importing FAM Asset. Hope this clarifies your concern. Regards, Ayie

Hi @User_Z9U8F , Since this is a customized module and not part of the standard Fixed Asset module, we kindly request that you file a support case.
