Thanks for the update, Bill. We have Defect 255733 filed for this - A possible alternate solution reported that removing the NetSuite Support Center (basic) role, and only adding the NetSuite Support Center role worked.

It sounds like the problem is related to how the auto-suggest feature is working without entering a prefix. I would contact Support to investigate this further.

A similar problem was reported to Support in Defect 299022. You can contact Support to have your case attached to it and receive notifications once this has been fixed.

I find it funny that it takes like 5 pages to get to SuiteIdeas (Logon -> Support Tab -> Ckick on SuiteIdeas Portlet -> Click on another SuiteIdeas tab -> Click on another SuiteIdeas Portlet -> Finally opens up SuiteIdeas!) When creating saved searches, IE9 has very slow responses when specifying filter criteria, adding joined fields, and working with formulas.
