Hi @User_JV2HF, Could you share which field it is, and whether it’s a standard field or a custom field? That will help narrow down where it’s being set as mandatory.
-
@User_I523R Glad that worked! Hers's Suitelet that lists all Scheduled and Map/Reduce deployments On the saved search question:- as per my knowledge, there’s no equivalent.
-
Hi @User_I523R, The scheduling fields aren’t exposed to saved searches or SuiteQL, but you can read them with SuiteScript. When you load a script deployment with N/record, the field recurringevent returns the full Schedule tab as JSON. For example:…

This is a great use case, @Matt McDonald-Oracle. Lot expiry visibility comes up all the time. I really enjoyed your MRP series too, and your contributions here are much appreciated. Thanks for sharing!

Hi @Vernita, The “Cost of Sales Adjustment” lines appear because the item was fulfilled before it was received. When the fulfillment was saved there was no on-hand quantity, so COGS posted at $0. When the receipt came in, NetSuite moved the actual FIFO cost from inventory to COGS so the earlier sale carries the right cost.…
-
Hi @John Nikko, I tried to reproduce this in my demo account but couldn’t get the same error. Once the linked item receipt was deleted and the line was removed, the inbound shipment deleted without any issue. Could you share the steps you followed, or screenshots of the shipment (Items and Landed Cost tabs) and the PO’s…

Hi @Shubham_Singh, An overview of the NetSuite Alliance Partner Program is available here: https://www.netsuite.nl/portal/assets/pdf/ds-netsuite-alliance-partner-program.pdf For specifics on pricing, eligibility, and the onboarding process, please reach out to the Alliance Partner team at alliancepartners@netsuite.com.

Hi @User_QTJUL, Installing the SuiteApp won’t change your existing balances, and nothing gets zeroed out. The SuiteApp is just validation scripts and setup records. Nothing happens until you turn on Negative Inventory validation in the Enable Validations setup. Once it’s on, it checks transactions as they’re saved and…

Hi @Suman Panda, As per my knowledge, the wave uses the quantity committed on the sales order line, not quantity available. Lines with nothing committed won’t show up in Wave Criteria, and a partly committed line is released only for the committed quantity, with the partial fulfillment flag. This is true even if Fulfill…

Hi @User_5K72X, Monthly minor release notes are posted in the Help Center under What’s New > Release Notes > Monthly Minor Release Notes (Article ID 50742). They usually appear there a few days after the release rolls out. You can also check the What’s new in the Suite portlet on your Home dashboard for a summary of each…

Hi @User_0QUBS, Welcome to the community! You can request SOC reports (and other audit reports) yourself through NetSuite 360: Log in to NetSuite and open NetSuite 360 from the Support tab. Click the Privacy Compliance tab. Click Audit Report Request. This shows your previous requests. Click New Audit Report Request, fill…

Hi @User_9V660, If the returned payment is already recorded as a journal against the bank, just deposit the $785 normally. When you reconcile, select both the deposit and the journal and match them to the $560 line on the statement. If you’d rather have a single $560 entry, skip the journal and add a -225 line on the…

Hi @Samuel D, Yes, a gift certificate sold in one subsidiary can be redeemed in another, as long as the gift certificate item and its liability account are available to both subsidiaries. The thing to watch is the accounting, the liability is booked in the selling subsidiary and relieved in the redeeming one, with no…

Hi @User_QTJUL, Yes, this can be handled with a script. The Units field on the item receipt can’t be edited in the UI, but a User Event script (beforeSubmit) can set the unit on each line, and NetSuite converts the received quantity back to the PO’s unit automatically. Since it runs server-side, it also covers receipts…
-
Hi @User_QTJUL, As far as I know, FAM doesn’t create the proposal automatically when the item receipt is saved. As long as the item posts to one of your fixed asset GL accounts, the receipt gets picked up when you run Asset Proposal. The proposals then show up in Manage Asset Proposal, where users can approve them…

Hi @User_44UPO, Merged duplicates are logged as deleted records with a merge context, even for manual merges, so you can report on them with a saved search: Go to Reports > Saved Searches > New and choose Deleted Record. Criteria: Context is Duplicate Resolution, and Record Type is any of Customer, Prospect. Results: Date…

Hi @Richard Appleford OB, Here’s a simple client script that does this. Deploy it on Purchase Order, and every new line gets the header location when the line location is blank, while lines that already have a location (for example from the item’s preferred location) keep it. /** @NApiVersion 2 .1 @NScriptType ClientScript…
-
Hi @Vishnu M, To help pinpoint where the duplicate tax is coming from, could you share a few details? Which country or nexus is this for? Are you on SuiteTax or legacy tax, and do you have a localization SuiteApp installed for that country? How is the tax being recorded on the prepayment: on the vendor prepayment itself,…

Hi @User_2BYR8, The simplest route i can think off is to keep the original invoice as is and create a new sales order for the replacement at $0. When it’s fulfilled, the item cost still posts to COGS, so the replacement cost is captured. If the damaged unit comes back, create a Return Authorization from the original order…

Happy to help, Chris (@Christopher Rossi). Here’s the script. Deploy it as a User Event on the Work Order record, and set the script parameter to your production role. /** @NApiVersion 2 .1 @NScriptType UserEventScript */ define(['N/runtime'], (runtime) => { const beforeLoad = (ctx) => { if (ctx.type !==…

Hi @User_ERYDW, Since you’re manufacturing each item, have you considered handling this with Sales Orders and Work Orders instead of Projects? Each custom item on the sales order can have its own work order created from the line, and the assembly build against it records what that item actually cost. That gives you…

Hi @Todd N Niedringhaus, I agree. Payload details like we get for SOAP and REST web services would make troubleshooting and audit much easier, and it would be great to see the same level of logging for the AI Connector Service. It’s worth raising as an enhancement request. For now, I’m using System Notes for audit…

@User_S6FVQ as far as I know, you can’t reallocate from the PO side. The Allocated Demand link on the PO shows which orders the supply is going to, but that view is read only and the field can’t be edited, even in edit mode. Reallocation is always driven from the order side through the Allocate Orders page.
-
Hi @User_FT7OL, NetSuite doesn’t do this natively. Replenishment creates POs for the items that are short (B and C), and it won’t decide on its own to buy the set because it’s cheaper. A custom script on the purchasing side can compare open demand for B and C against the set and create a PO for the Item Group when that…
-
Hi @User_FT7OL, If A is set up as an Item Group, there’s nothing to break down. When a set is purchased, it’s received as separate B and C in stock, so a single B is available to sell right away while the other B and C stay in inventory. If you need to track the set as its own stocked item (for example, the supplier ships…
-
Hi @User_FT7OL, An Item Group is the best fit here. When A is added to a sales order, it expands into separate B and C lines, and Create PO is set per line. You can special order only the 2× B and fill C from stock. A Kit also splits demand into components, but creating a PO is not an option for kit, so the missing B would…
-
Hi @User_FT7OL, For (A) an Item Group is the best fit. On a sales order, its member lines can be special ordered, so ordering 1× A with no stock creates a PO to the supplier right away. The PO comes through as B and C lines at their individual prices, so apply the set discount with a discount line or vendor pricing. If…

Hi @Christopher Rossi, with Build Assemblies set to Create and Work Order set to View, the standard Create Build button doesn’t appear on the Work Order. It only shows when the role has Edit on Work Orders. The build itself doesn’t need Edit, though. Once the build page is open, it saves fine with View access, and the Work…
