> Are you using Google checkout? No Some bit of adwords code is in all four fields in the Analytics tab. See... https://system.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/en_US/Output/Help/WebSite/SiteBuilder/Reports_WorkingWithGoogleAnalytics.html#N3364461260-0

It works now. It was entered at "set-up->web site->set up web site: Analytics/ Order Tracking Script HTML ".

Is there a way to send google the data for the "Product Category" field? I'd like to send either the web-store category that the item is in (preferred category) or the income account for each item. -Tom

Today I noticed that our adwords conversion tracking was not running anymore, so I am fixing it. This thread is old, so i'm pasting the latest version of the tracking code. /* */ var google_conversion_id =…

no. It can not.

So, are you thinking that NS will be ahead of the curve on ecom? We got sitemaps 4 years after other sites that I won't mention and then those sitemaps didn't include image URLs and so I still use my 3rd party site crawler. I just read another thread that was 4 years old and asking for a "recently viewed items' feature for…

There are 3rd part configurators for NetSuite. I believe that one of them would be able to have matrix items in a kit.

I see an uptick in our "cart abandonment" graph...

Why not use the hosted version of Magento? http://www.magentocommerce.com/product/hosted-solutions

Do re-directs for every URL that changes. So, each item from your current NS store needs a re-direct to the new Magento equivalent. That is the main thing I've heard for not taking a hit to your search rankings. I'm interested in hearing how it went when it is all done. T

What is Magento lacking? They seem to be the hot platform right now. Their feature list (and list of extensions/plug-ins) is about the longest that I've seen. On a similar note, it looks like PayPal is PURCHASING Magento. PayPal is moving services to the X.com domain and it looks like X.com is a marriage of PayPal + Ebay +…

I would love to hear what the rest of the community thinks about marketing and merchandising in this world with multiple channels In addition to working with the latest channels, NS needs to look at the existing channels? "Google product search" is an older channel, but a channel none-the-less. I'd like to have our items…

We are starting to realize that a software platform as large as netsuites just cant make updates and changes fast enough to keep up. It might be time to go back to work with several companies to get the technology we need. Ecommerce platform that specializes in ecommerce and can remain cutting edge. It is frustrating to…

From a product perspective, we would like to have out of the box support and integrations with a lot of different external companies... For example, our platform is flexible enough to build integrations with shopping comparison or product search sites, and we have at least one partner that has a SuiteApp for it (SuiteFeeds…

Would some members of the community be willing to share their experience on how profitable have the different channels been? Which product search site has been better for you? Hands down, "google product search" ..for the winner of the product comparison search sites. It brings us the most traffic and the most sales. The…

I was honestly getting a bit tired of the stagnation of NS in this area, but after being able to discuss the future of NS e-commerce with the new GM Andy Lloyd and Baruch it was an eye opener and I’m now re-energized about the direction NS is heading in this area Tom, I'm beyond tired of the stagnation in the e-commerce…

Thanks Mini, We're mac users and open office wouldn't open your .PPSX (power point) files. Are those also available as PDF documents? Last time I checked, you can export as PDF from power point. T

If you're worried about backpedalling later, then you can always describe the improvements on the horizon in the broadest of terms ...or just say "or maybe not" on the bottom of your list of the improvemnts that you're working on. T

an accurate measurement of any discontentment with a product can not be measured in a UG moderated by the product maker. In an open UG or 3rd party public poll, you'd see a better picture of where everyone really stands. Just say'n, if users think they know how users feel from this UG ...they may be way understating the…

We have always envisioned NetSuite as a suite for your business, and not just an eCommerce platform. It is funny that you say that you "don't just envision NetSuite as an eCommerce platform" ..as if that was the most capable area of NetSuite. The eCommerce/webstore portion of NetSuite is its weakest link ...IMHO. I would…

How do others web-store providers it so cheaply? Did NetSuite take a cumbersome and more expensive path when a different solution wouldn't require the IP address solution? How does magento do it so cheaply? Would NS consider just doing an "ecom powered by Magento" version of NS to get great gains with less work by the NS…

just stop buying it. You know that isn't possible for everyone. We've been painted into a corner. We've had several outside developers that have added extensive "NS specific customizations" for big bucks. If we left, we'd have to have that work re-done to fit the new platform. Those costs and the disruptions that would go…

Damien, You mention SAP and Salesforce as not offering "branded checkout" URLs. Another comparison is quickbooks online. Intuit purchased StoreFront. A similar purchase or partnership might solve this "branded checkout" issue and countless other shortcomings in one giant upgrade. Like, if NS made "powered by magento" their…

Darren, I don't know if you read my post, but i made mention that the hosted version of Magento allows users to retain their URL through check-out with each user getting their own SSL certificate (readily available for about $4 dollars per month from GoDaddy). So, maybe the NetSuite approach is all wrong. Maybe NetSuite…

You're right that it should just be part of any ecommerce platform. But ..for now, "Nextopia ecommerce search" has faceted search capabilities. See... http://www.nextopia.com/ecommerce-site-search.html It also works good with a NS store. The only pain is that you've got to make "product feeds" for them to pull data from.…

We still use Inspyder site-map creator. It adds image URLs into its site-map. T

If you find the NS web-store too difficult to use, you can create your web-store in something like Magento and then use a 3rd party solution to connect that web-store to netSuite. http://www.celigo.com/netsuite/solutions/magento-connector-for-netsuite.html…

Also, had this answer to "What does this option mean (it is from the nextopia set-up page)"... Search Template ( ) url ( ) static (X) netsuite style There are 3 options that you can set up for your search results page: #1 URL If you have a custom template uploaded to your back-end, you can get the Nextopia search to point…

It was a very simple install. They are flexible and I didn't like the way it used "google base" data for the search data as all our items aren't listed in google bass. I asked if I could keep a CSV file at our domain, so we keep the file at ... ourdomain.com/products.csv and they were fine with that as their data source.…

As usual, their summary is a bit off. It should say "Newly added items and/or categories not showing up immediately or even within two or three hours in some cases".
