I've been working on the website today. It is incredibly frustrating when you can't force the changes to update to the live webstore. I've been editing static HTML files. It's been 1/2 hour and I've edited the same file several times. The original version is still all that is available online. I've tried the tricks to…

Defect #194000 - Webstore:Newly added items in a category not showing up immediately. SUMMARY: Webstore:Newly added items in a category not showing up immediately. WORKAROUND: None Your defect has been prioritized as an S2.

Overall, do you feel that you are getting good performance and features for the cost? Are most of you happy with your decision to run your website on NetSuite's platform? I'm only using it because we've invested too much time and money in it. I've got many regrets about using it. I have little hope that It'll improve…

I have found netsuite stats to be blatantly wrong, CONSTANTLY. Dashboard KPIs dont even match with its own reports. Hell, the SAME KPIs dont line up with themselves depending on if you output the raw number, or have it charted. Yep ..."trend graph logic" for plotting the trend line is also flawed...…

In my opinion, it either works or it doesn't. IMHO it would be like saying, "my car starts six days out of the week, I'd say that's the best that can be achieved". No, there is an issue there and it reduces our efficiency (at best) each time it happens ...therefore it is broken. T

We got one (with the issue) late last week.en Google Checkout Constantly returns Default Shipping Comentario por Tom Dalton May 23, 2011 9:57PM

You might have went over my head a bit. I will say that we use paypal's "express checkout" and it never had these shipping/timeout issues. Maybe it should send them to GCO only after the shipping price has been calculated in NetSuite. We also use Amazon integration via farAp, but it doesn't count because it uses the Amazon…en Google Checkout Constantly returns Default Shipping Comentario por Tom Dalton May 24, 2011 2:01PM

Is there a way to show the cheapest possible price in the category level? 'pricelevel5' gives the highest "online price". Right now we say "Prices start at XXX" in the category level. I want to say (in the category level) "Prices as LOW as XXX each", but I don't know if NS has a standard variable for the cheapest available…

I've heard of one NS partner that will be releasing a Sears integration for NS and it is scheduled to be released in the 1st quarter of 2011.

Enhancement 66987: Matrix items > ability to specify order of options when items are created.
-
My belief is that it has to do with the order the options appear on the Item Options page. Are you referring to the page at "setup->customization->transaction item options"? That list can be sorted a number of ways, so I'm thinking that that list wouldn't effect the order that I was describing. I've got that listed sorted…

The next NS release is reported to have an image-name.jpg file naming option. So, will that make integrating with Sears much easier? T

My bad, I found the figure that is used when our Google Checkout fails. It WAS in NetSuite. Our default shipping method in our NetSite web store is UPS ground. Our UPS ground setting (in NetSuite) has "minimum shipping amount = $6". About once a month we get a Google Checkout order where the shipping should have been $80…
-
The funny thing about this though is the the amount being charged for shipping is not the real time rate it should be nor is the default rate I put into Netsuite when I originally set up Google Checkout . Yes, but what is your minimum that was put into Google? We've had a bug for a while and what happens is that Google…
-
That stinks. There is no way we can re-order our item options at this point without deleting all of our item options and recreating them in the order that we want them generated. That isn't feasible because it might help for one item while ruining other items. Our item options are used on many different items and on one…

Thanks Jason. NetSuite, can you give us the definitive answer on this? T

We used... "/tab_name/category_name/item_name" , but I'd switch to "/item_name" in a second if it didn't require tons of labor to properly do the switch. The thing I hate about "/tab_name/category_name/item_name" is that I'm always seeing ways to reorganize the web store and with our "/tab_name/category_name/item_name"…

Does anyone offer a service to switch a NS user from "/tab_name/category_name/item_name" to "/item_name" using the best practices for optimal search engine ranking retention? The service would include all needed redirects and fixing of any static links that might need to be updated after the transformation. -Tom

- 13.1 is a big release for us and we are all working extremely hard to deliver a best-in-class SuiteCommerce platform build keeping performance and flexibility in mind. Next up will be the fully customizable shopping experience including very fast faceted search, as well as a fully customizable My Account/Customer Center. Is faced search going to be for everyone or only those that have paid to move their store into the ignite platform? As time goes on we will attempt to allow more point…

"SSP apps" are new, but they look like they require a programmer to figure out. The main free improvement that I'll use (specific to ecom) is the one-page-checkout (a NS designed demo "SSP app"). The NS help for 2012.1 release says "This feature is targeted to be available in March 2012". T
-
Yes, one page checkout = BETA. You are also correct about Ignite. "huge update" = very few ecom enhancements for non-ignite users. No faceted search. The other answer you might get is "Technically it is possible, but not currently supported..." meaning you can do it yourself from scratch which is no fun and your results…

"the longer term" < v2011.1 expanding < replacing status quo = grumble grumble
-
It was the D.I.Y. solution that was more susceptible to breaking... not 3rd party (although both are more breakable than a NS maintained solution). The cost of ignite is high, but we can deal with it. The cost to switch an existing NS store over to ignite was more that we care to spend. T PS: There are magento alternatives…

Everyone could also just vote for a NeSuite provided full integration with magneto (or any other best of class ecommerce site) as a means to fix this problem. T

dfcowell, You mention "back in 2007...". The user group changed platforms not long before 07 our else you'd see much older unresolved requests. I just looked at our open NS support cases and they go back to 04, but to be fair ... the ones that are still really relevant don't start until 2005. T PS: NS, I would close some…
