I've heard of one NS partner that will be releasing a Sears integration for NS and it is scheduled to be released in the 1st quarter of 2011.

Enhancement 66987: Matrix items > ability to specify order of options when items are created.
-
My belief is that it has to do with the order the options appear on the Item Options page. Are you referring to the page at "setup->customization->transaction item options"? That list can be sorted a number of ways, so I'm thinking that that list wouldn't effect the order that I was describing. I've got that listed sorted…

The next NS release is reported to have an image-name.jpg file naming option. So, will that make integrating with Sears much easier? T

My bad, I found the figure that is used when our Google Checkout fails. It WAS in NetSuite. Our default shipping method in our NetSite web store is UPS ground. Our UPS ground setting (in NetSuite) has "minimum shipping amount = $6". About once a month we get a Google Checkout order where the shipping should have been $80…
-
The funny thing about this though is the the amount being charged for shipping is not the real time rate it should be nor is the default rate I put into Netsuite when I originally set up Google Checkout . Yes, but what is your minimum that was put into Google? We've had a bug for a while and what happens is that Google…
-
That stinks. There is no way we can re-order our item options at this point without deleting all of our item options and recreating them in the order that we want them generated. That isn't feasible because it might help for one item while ruining other items. Our item options are used on many different items and on one…

Thanks Jason. NetSuite, can you give us the definitive answer on this? T

See... https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=24259

We used... "/tab_name/category_name/item_name" , but I'd switch to "/item_name" in a second if it didn't require tons of labor to properly do the switch. The thing I hate about "/tab_name/category_name/item_name" is that I'm always seeing ways to reorganize the web store and with our "/tab_name/category_name/item_name"…
-
Does anyone offer a service to switch a NS user from "/tab_name/category_name/item_name" to "/item_name" using the best practices for optimal search engine ranking retention? The service would include all needed redirects and fixing of any static links that might need to be updated after the transformation. -Tom

- 13.1 is a big release for us and we are all working extremely hard to deliver a best-in-class SuiteCommerce platform build keeping performance and flexibility in mind. This new offering SuiteCommerce Enterprise will provide customer end-to-end (from shopping to my account), pixel-by-pixel flexibility to create a commerce…
-
Next up will be the fully customizable shopping experience including very fast faceted search, as well as a fully customizable My Account/Customer Center. Is faced search going to be for everyone or only those that have paid to move their store into the ignite platform? As time goes on we will attempt to allow more point…

"SSP apps" are new, but they look like they require a programmer to figure out. The main free improvement that I'll use (specific to ecom) is the one-page-checkout (a NS designed demo "SSP app"). The NS help for 2012.1 release says "This feature is targeted to be available in March 2012". T
-
Yes, one page checkout = BETA. You are also correct about Ignite. "huge update" = very few ecom enhancements for non-ignite users. No faceted search. The other answer you might get is "Technically it is possible, but not currently supported..." meaning you can do it yourself from scratch which is no fun and your results…

"the longer term" < v2011.1 expanding < replacing status quo = grumble grumble
-
It was the D.I.Y. solution that was more susceptible to breaking... not 3rd party (although both are more breakable than a NS maintained solution). The cost of ignite is high, but we can deal with it. The cost to switch an existing NS store over to ignite was more that we care to spend. T PS: There are magento alternatives…

scriptable checkout + no script writer = <null>

Everyone could also just vote for a NeSuite provided full integration with magneto (or any other best of class ecommerce site) as a means to fix this problem. T
-
dfcowell, You mention "back in 2007...". The user group changed platforms not long before 07 our else you'd see much older unresolved requests. I just looked at our open NS support cases and they go back to 04, but to be fair ... the ones that are still really relevant don't start until 2005. T PS: NS, I would close some…

Is there a way to set the column widths for the links that are in the body of the "my account" tab? -T
-
Hello, You may go to Set Up > User/Roles > Manage Roles > Edit the *custom* Customer Center > Permissions Tab > Transactions > Sales Order Level = None. You may edit the other transactions listed and set the level to none for those you dont want to show in the customer center. Help Guide: Customizing the Customer Center…

Well, don't forget that it also took a year+ to get GCO added as a feature in the first place. So, they come in way behind the curve and then it doesn't work to boot. This is why we shut it off in our account. We've got a number of issues that all match this same M.O.. T
-
Today a customer called and said "why do you only offer UPS ground". After a minute I realized he was in Google checkout. So, why is UPS ground the only method showing in Google checkout? I believe that all methods were previously available. Is this a new glitch with the GCO/NetSuite integration? -Tom
-
To be fair, it could be that GCO just wasn't designed in a way that is compatible with NetSuite. If so, then that should probably be communicated to us by NetSuite. Most of our other NS issues however are not dependent upon 3rd party services ...like the "enhanced checkout" with all of its issues. T
-
we do get an error every time an order is passed, although it does seem to pass correctly Does someone have the defect number for the constant Google Checkout emails stating "order notification failing"? Thanks, Tom
-
Also, is there a way to hide the "HELP" link displayed to the right of our customer's name? -Tom
-
BUMP. This Google Checkout shipping flaw (prioritized as S1) persists!!
-
This issue requires a general improvement on how addresses are classified as business or residential in the NS web store Will it finally be possible to give our customers access to the "business or residential" field?
-
We turned off GCO about a week after my previous post. We didn't seem to loose any sales, so we are keeping it off. There have been bugs in the NetSuite/GCO integration since day one ..so we gave up. Add it to the list of features that we asked for and yet we keep turned off in our account.
