Jeff, what is the "Account = is Cost of Goods Sold" for? Doesn't "Type=Item Fulfillment" narrow it down enough? -Tom PS: I see a lot of uses for this feature and the NS help is hard to understand. I think I'll start a thread called "100 Ways to Use Scheduled Emails of Transaction Searches" so people can post more of these…

Does anyone know of a way to make it send only one email per customer (even if they have two tracking numbers on one fulfillment)?
-
My hope would be when people come up with good solutions using saved search e-mail alerts they bundle them up and make them available to others. Thanks, -e I wouldn't feel comfortable installing other user's bundles. I don't have time or the knowledge to reverse engineer what they have done and the bundle could have…

Has anyone made the UPS tracking number clickable? Looking at UPS.com and NS tracking links, it looks like you would need one of these URLs... //system.netsuite.com/app/common/shipping/packagetracker.nl?type=ups&InquiryNumber=XXXXXXXXXX or //wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?InquiryNumber1=…

Somewhere else, they said to use "main line=true" to stop double-entries on results. T

Is there a way to specify that it ONLY sends the fulfilment email IF the tracking number field is NOT empty? Sometimes we will fulfill an order without a tracking number (like when an order is drop-shiped by a vendor that doesn't provide tracking info) and in those cases ...we want it to skip the fulfillment email. -Tom

We don't have a script writer on staff. Maybe a standard email notification "bundle" will become available from NetSuite in the suitescript repository. T

FedEx separates Home deliveries from business deliveries (they are two completely different shipping methods). So, using FedEx in a freight shipping calculation would give us a tool that wouldn't work all of out customers because we have a mix of address types in our account. We also couldn't use UPS because if you click…

deisouss, Two more questions. 1. In your main shipping preferences (setup>accounting>shipping>preferences), do you have it set to use "list rates" or "Negotiated rates"? 2. In your main FedEx account preferences (setup>accounting>shipping>preferences), do you have it set to use "residential" rates? -Tom

The third part companies only work with the back-office aspect of LTL. The last I checked, neither OzLink or PaceJet had customer facing LTL pricing for your webstore/cart. -Tom
-
I did their webinar yesterday. I'm wanting to see the customer interface (for viewing shipping estimates) on someone's web store. -T
-
Ozlink is very expensive if the carrier has a transparent link you can build a script in Netsuite that will use the shipping zip code and weight. Send it to the carrier website and receive back quote ID and accurate quote amount. Each item would also need a custom variable added for its "shipping class". We're not going to…

As a "work around" (until real time Freight rates are available in the cart) has anyone used a shipping method called something like "Shipping cost to be determined" and have it only available for shipments over 500 lbs and have it calculate $0.00 for the shipping cost? We tried this, but it messed up the "shipping…
-
We also want this feature. If OzLink added it, I'd use their services. We need it in the cart.. not just the back office. We ship about 10% of our orders by LTL. We currently have NS calculate at something like $.41 per lb. It is OK with some orders and WAY off on others. It is a bad solution. I'm sure some customers see…
-
Yea, that almost works for us and in some cases it does. It works for the posts, but not our sign stands. Unfortunately, we use a different box depending on the quantity ordered. Your suggestion would work IF we could specify... 1 unit, then use box A 2 units, then use box B 3 units, then use box C ...then NetSuite would…
-
Thanks for the tip. I can't wait to try it. We use UPS, so i'll be using UPS ground rates as my starting point. One thing that might throw it off for us is that we use multiple locations and we've assigned boxes to about 30% of our items (especially the larger ones). I'll report back for anyone else interested in this…

Can anyone tell me if PaceJet shows accurate LTL freight quotes in the WebStore? Thanks, Tom
-
It look like Volusion has integrated with YELLOW Freight. http://manual.volusion.com/Shipping-Resources/31.htm I also see Volusion linked with this service http://www.frtplus.com/ Has NetSuite reached out to any shippers or freight brokers to see if they could work together to offer freight quotes in the NS shopping cart??…
-
I personally don't need the back-end functionality at all. I can go get a quote from FreightQuote after the order comes in. I just want something for our webstore customers that is close to real-time rates. It would need a variable for our discount. T
-
deisouss, You say "FedEX real-time rates", but you don't say what method of FedEx. Are you saying that you use FedEx GROUND rates discounted 50% and then add a $.15 per lb handling fee and it comes out close to LTL rates? I assumed "ground", but just wanted to clarify. -Tom
-
In the PaceJet webinar they said that they could integrate with a broker (like freightquote). I want to know how the LTL shipping estimates work within web store. thanks for the info. -Tom
-
<bump> Anyone with feedback on Pacejet? -T

HERE is the FedEx Freight XML info http://www.liberty-flag.com/john/Fed...g_Feb_2004.pdf Here's the UPS info for their XML response http://www.liberty-flag.com/john/UPS...S_DevGuide.pdf Looks like some NS developer could use these to creating a FedEx Freight or UPS Freight Shipping add-on for NS. T
-
Another NetSuite user told me how they got accurate or "accurate enough" shipping costs. IT was very time consuming and limited, but it will work for some users. What they did was... They took the FIRST digit in each zip code and made it a zone. So, they had zones 0 through 9. If an item ships from their address in New…

Has anyone used this company... http://www.pacejet.com/Company/Solutions/PacejetShippingandLogisticsforNetsuite/tabid/171/Default.aspx

Could a solution be made as a Custom Widget or a SuiteBundle?

Vote for Enhancement 135427. it says... Setup>Accounting>Accounting Preferences>To have a preference setting that provide the option, to send Order Fulfilled Confirmation Emails, ONLY when the fulfillment has a TRACKING NUMBER.
-
Ozlink is a good product, but we don't ship enough to justify it. We do pay enough for NS to ask for it to do everything that we need. We use NS label integration. We just want a way for NS to send "Order Fulfilled Confirmation Emails" with a tracking number ...and we don't want it to send any "Fulfilled Confirmation…
-
Could this be set-up as a "alert" rather than using the standard "Order Fulfilled Confirmation Emails" feature? -Tom
-
Yes, we switched to using non-inventory items for resale. I know that calling a service an "item" seems counterintuitive (especially when you could be using an item called "Services for Resale"), but that is the way to go if you want a PO to be generated to fulfill a resold service from a "service providing" 3rd party. -Tom
