No, "Log System Notes on Update Only" preference is unchecked for us because we want timestamp/ notes when the item is created too. But I tried it! It still did not work as hoped. Whoops actually one more important point: Not only could I not see the store info on the item page after I made reorder point changes in the sandbox, but I also could not see the system notes telling me that reorder values had changed so nothing was gained there either. Maybe something else needs to be configured too?

We do have a sandbox so that's exactly what I did yesterday! I changed the reorder values and poked around and found I could not see the reorder values for my location if it was set to zero - apparently this feature is meant for multi store use so for a business with more than one location so it's better to hide locations…

It looks like enabling the Advanced Item Location feature is not a good choice for us because we only have one location. Thanks for that idea though! I think I am stuck with no solution yet.

Wow - Thank you! We have only one location here so we don't have Advanced Item Location enabled but I will take a look at that to see if we can do that without causing some other issue elsewhere. The screenshot that you shared looks very helpful! I can't see that currently - If I change those variables nothing is visible…

Thank you for your feedback. I've been struggling with this for a while now and I think I saw that before that there is a user enhancement request to change this. I will vote for this! In the meantime, is there a way to do this outside of using System Notes? Can a saved search or workflow monitor those item variables…
