Merge or Blend Project Attributes
Organization Name
TMEIC
Description
We would like to have the ability to blend data attributes together from multiple datasets. We would be able to merge these attributes at the project level and use a single attribute rather than several from other datasets. Perfect example would be having three or four data sets that have the fiscal year - parent would be fiscal year with children being all of the fiscal year attributes from the various data sets so when we are applying filters we could leverage a single filter for fiscal year.
Use Case and Business Need
Perfect example would be having three or four data sets that have the fiscal year - parent would be fiscal year with children being all of the fiscal year attributes from the various data sets so when we are applying filters we could leverage a single filter for fiscal year.
More details
The only way we know how to make this happen is by having a master date table and linking all of our other datasets to this table to leverage the same data (Fiscal Year, Period, Quarter...Etc)

Are your datasets joined together or not? If they are joined, you should be able to join based on one of the time dimensions and hide the others. This is assuming that they share the same content (or that at least one of them is a superset)

Time was one attribute, there are others as well and not all could be joined otherwise the data could get skewed.
