In OAC, it will be great to add a recursive checksum that can be validated during Upgrades of OAC systems or during migrations between environments.
Use Case and Business Need
During upgrades or Code migration between environments, it will give customers peace of mind knowing the codebase was not altered by the upgrade process or it didn't lose its file integrity.
In the recent upgrade from 5.8 to 5.9 made our reports which had certain characters in names to be dropped during the upgrade. If there was an MD5 Checksum generated before and after upgrades, it will be easy to verify and catch these changes.
This will increase resilience to catalog corruption which can happen due to many reasons.
