Ability to create 'Dataset' using BI Reports from OTBI

Is there a way to create datasets in OAC using BI report from OTBI?

We see the option to create datasets using Subject Areas from OTBI but we have numerous complex BI Reports that we would like use when creating projects in OAC.

Additionally, we can only schedule a dataset to refresh if we use subject areas. This option does not exist when uploading results from BI Report using 'Drop data file' option. We want the ability the load BI report results and have it scheduled so the data refreshes daily, hourly, weekly, etc.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

As of now, we are limited to creating projects only using Subject Areas from OTBI. We want the ability to create projects using BI Reports. Especially, BI Reports that are complex like Turnover.

Have you tried creating a connection via the Oracle Applications connector?

Hi Bret,

We already have the Oracle Applications connection setup. Which is why, we are able to create datasets using OTBI reports but it's not working for BI Reports that use data models. If you any recommendations for that, please share.
