OAS 6.4-BIP Datamodel developed using DV Dataset cannot change parameter's field comparison operator

Description (Required):

In OAS 6.4, while developing the BI Publisher report's DataModel using source as Data Visualizer Dataset - by default the parameters are getting compared using IN operator. In our scenario, we want to give date range over a date field but we can't select BETWEEEN / <(Less than) /> (Greater than) operator - by default its selecting IN operator.

Initially we submitted one technical SR and while investing the support team also observed the same issue. Providing the SR details:
