Which "Oracle visualization" are you talking about? Which exact product?
Edit: This is a connection to an OBI server in DVD (Data Visualization Desktop) for exmaple:

You can not "connect to an RPD" without having an OBI Server. The OBI Server runs the RPD, establishes the connections to the data sources, produces the queries, fetches the results, processes them etc etc etc
The RPD itself is nothing but a bunch of metadata. It *DOES* nothing.

Hi Christian,
Thanks for the response.
The product <<Data Visualization Desktop>> mentioned is right one.
Sorry didn't give complete name.
Pre-requisite for connection described is "OBIEE server installed/deployed."
Our requirement is connecting RPD directly as data source.
This will not have dependency of OBIEE server installation.
RPD metadata can be leverage for data visualization
Is this possible and if yes then what would be possible steps to achieve this?
