OAC to onprem MySQL using RDG

Hi All, we are trying to establish a connection from OAC to on-prem MySQL (version 5.6) database.
As per OAC documentation, connection to on-prem MySQL is possible only through Remote connectivity Datamodels.
We have successfully configured the RDG and we're getting the XML response back, however, when we change the connection pool to point it to the database(which is installed in the local machine) and deploy the RPD , we don't get any data. The analysis keeps loading and it has a timeout after 15min. Both the OAC and RDG are of version 105.5.
Has anyone faced the this issue before or have any thoughts on how to resolve this issue?

    Maybe you are past this issue, but I would suggest you may want to start by reviewing the RDG logs

    Thanks, Steve for your input, I'll look into it. Meanwhile, we have raised a bug with the product team (we were using windows instance) and are following up with them.
