Feasibility of having SQL Developer Connection to Oracle HCM Cloud Enviornment

Supporting business requirements often means analyzing data or easy reporting to business. Using SQL statements in BI solution is currently the best way to do so, but rather time consuming and far from the user friendlyness we get on premise.

Agreed, there are paid tools available however it would be nice to have a built-in Oracle solution.
Having to create a data model to write quick queries is quiet time consuming if you just want to do a quick check.

This is highly needed. It is pretty bad that Oracle forces us to use a third party app.

I see it is under review but is this going to move to a planned idea? This is really needed and would much improve the product

This would make life a lot more productive when writing queries. IT would also help to provide helpful errors and indicate where in the SQL issues are occurring!

I assume you are still investigating since March 2020 the request to improve the product and allow direct SQL access with something better than BI Publisher. Could you give the user community an update? This would be appreciated. Otherwise, the Status Under Oracle Review should be changed.

I am following SR 3-23826054181 : What do we need to do to have SQL Developer or similar access to SaaS Fusion instances
as well in parallel.
