synchronize HCM users with FDI

Hi,
I've been adding users (people who are using HCM) in the OCI Console manually and granting them the necassary FAW roles. But I feel like these users I've added are not seen as HCM users… there was no synchronisation done between HCM users and FDI. Could someone explain me how to do it please?
Because I need to set up security to give Managers access to some of my FDI reports and when I restrict the role for these specific users, they can't see any data, and I'm sure they are not recognized by the system asHCM users..
Thank you for your help

@Lauriane Massin Whitaker - For Human Capital Management, the data security is based on the line
manager hierarchy defined in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for the
user having the Line Manager role. For Human Capital Management,
the data security is based on the talent acquisition hierarchy defined
in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for the user having the Job
Application or Job Requisition roles. All users can see their own
records using the HCM Show context. A user with the HR Analyst role has
access to all Human Capital Management data and no security restrictions
are applied to the Human Capital Management data set. A user with the
Hiring Manager role has access to non-restricted job applications, while
users with the Recruiter and Recruiting Manager role can view all job
applications. The business unit, legal employer, department, country
security context, and related data roles are restricted by contexts and
assigned predicate values. To establish the security permissions, you'd
need to map users to security assignmentsA user with "Line Manager" role can only see her/his organization data.

Hi,
I've already gone through this doc but I really don't know how to set it up. I'm trying to test all of that using a test admin who has the ORA_PER_LINE_MANAGER_ABSTRACT role in HCM. I've attached a custom line manager role to him (following an online Oracle guide), but when it comes to the security assignment part, what am i supposed to select in the security context ? Because when I try to select one of them, I have a message saying "no user found"….
I'm completely lost to be honest.
And my initial question was more about the fact that I've added users in OCI but I feel like they are not recognized as being users from HCM at all… I also created user for someone who is not in the system, and it makes no difference at all…
Thank you very much

Hi @Lauriane Massin Whitaker , HCM users get synchronized as users in IDCS. You shouldn't have to setup users manually in OCI.
Kind regards

Hi, creating the user in the page below is right, isn't it ?
Or is there anywhere else I need to do it ? I don't get it…

I just don't understand why I can't seem to be able to find the list of the HCM users… that's why I've been adding them manually. But I guess something's wrong in the process.

Hi, yes, this is IDCS but you shouldn't have to create the HCM users here. The HCM users and their roles should get synced, that's the beauty of it. Looking at your screenshot, I think you need to login to the proper IDCS stripe, e.g. your HCM Prod stripe or your HCM Test stripe. How did you navigate here? You should navigate from the FDI security console; that should connect you to the proper stripe.

Oh…
This is the way I did it :
What do I need to do exactly ? and where ?
Do I need to go here ?
Or in this console ? Because I've been here a lot and I can't see anything to sync my users….
Thank you :)

Because in my last screenshot, the only users I have in the list is the one I've manually created in the IDCS console… Can't seem to see any HCM users here.

Hi, go to the page of your last screenshot, and click on the button Gerer les utilisateurs.

It takes me to the same page…
