Oracle Fusion OTBI and Data/Role Sync
Hi Team,
I am a Oracle Security Specialist and often have to play with data sync and validate in UI and in OBI layer reporting.
When I do a HDL to Bulk terminate users I then Run the series of LDAP Scheduled Processes. Retrieve and Send and Import user role and application security just to be safe.
I keep running into the issue that even after i clear cache in BI and run those processes that OTBI report s do not reflect the changes in a timely manner at all. I have even tried clearing the metadata.
I am using the "Subject Area Security - Roles and Privileges Real Time"
Does anyone know how to force the synchronization? I am not 100% sure what it is I am doing wrong. Do I need to regenerate something? Is there another process that specifically ensures OTBI Analysis data syncs?
Thanks

Hi @Nicolas Trojack
There are sometimes Module/product specific processes that need to be run to sync the data/populate the tables that OTBI depends on.
To know if this is the case for your usecase, you will need to check with the HCM Analytics team.
I suggest you log a new thread under HCM Analytics.
Besides this from OTBI itself you can try to disable caching for your specific analysis that you want to skip the Cache for. Have a look at this document explaining the same :If my response has answered your question or assisted you with your concern, please click "yes" below to accept the answer or comment with any additional queries.
