Hi, I am using SampleApp V607 which has OBIEE 12.2.1.1.0. I have a dashboard page which has a couple of prompts and one Analysis. Time prompt accepts four levels - Year (Default), Half Year, Quarter and Month. Product prompt accepts four levels - Brand (Default), LOB, Type and Product. Based on the selection, the Analysis…

Lower level granularity selection jumps to second view on the Analysis.

Because software design can change from release to release.

Example: usage tracking. Went from being purely config-file base to MBeans and then back to config files in the space of 2 versions. They thought it was a good idea to change it. Realized it wasn't and went back.
