Ok so in order to test for messed up atr files you best purge one of the users having issues from the catalog.

Of course you backup his stuff first...

Then you log.on as that user again which will recreate his/her .../user/jsmith folder.

Check whether things are working as expected. If yes then you have corrupted atrs.

Hi, I purged the user from the catalog, then login as that user. But none of the folders created under catalog, also I can not still see the My Folders. :S Did I Miss sommething?

Also, purge means only deleting files user.atr and user named folder under root/users/.. ?

Those two are normally sufficient. If not, then I have an old script which does it: https://dimensionality.ch/2014/03/19/purging-corrupted-obiee-web-catalog/

Generally if you do not get the "My Folders" back after complete purge and re-logon then there's something fishy in the security itself.

    Hi Dilek,

Did you go through the link I added in my last reply? Make sure you performed the GUID refresh as per the guidelines in the doc and also confirm a successful GUID refresh by locating the following message in the sawlog "Succeeded in updating account GUIDs from back end user population store". Once confirmed perform a catalog cleanup as well (take a backup before doing it) and see if resolves your issue.

I purged the user following this page: The 100 facets of Oracle Business Intelligence: Purging corrupted OBIEE web catalog users

After doing this, user can see the My Folders under catalog

    Thank you all.
