Did you create your OAC instance yourself selecting it directly in your cloud tenancy console? Was your OAC fully empty and you had to build everything from scratch? Or is your Oracle Analytics part of your FDI product? And did your Oracle Analytics environment comes with a number of predefined things (both in the semantic…

Yes, that's the current rule that has been valid for every OAS release. As long as the yearly release keeps being in March, the rule of the 2 years support is valid. But that's why it's good to bookmark the Oracle Support site page linked above, just to have a formal document covering the topic (as you usually ask yourself…

@User_A63N1 , if you want to request that feature that is currently not available, you can do it by posting an idea for it. https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/idealab-oracle-analytics-cloud-server You can have a look first if the idea already exist, and if it does, up-vote it. If an idea for…

So, you are using Fusion AI Data Platform (previously FDI, previously FAW), and not OAC, right? Fusion AI Data Platform doesn't have all the same features of OAC, or at least not at the same time. It follows different release schedules. And some features just aren't part of FAIDP compared to OAC. If you are using FAIDP,…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. You can bookmark the following MOS link: https://support.oracle.com/support/?kmContentId=2775561 OAS has a very simple support timeline: latest version is supported, the previous one is supported for 1 year after the release of the next one. Therefore OAS 7.0…

What Brendan said: OAS still requires to be provided with the right tnsnames.ora for your connections to work (if not using a full connection string). And in OAS, you can still have the normal connections details in the connection pool, just like you had in OBIEE. OAS didn't remove them. The Semantic Modeler is the one…

Ok, I better see your case and how the current options aren't fully helping you much. I believe that what you would like is the "classic" SOAP webservice able to execute LSQL queries but in the new OAC REST API. There still isn't such a method documented in the REST API of OAC (but I believe there is an undocumented…

Hi @K Nowak , I'm not fully sure where the idea was posted, as it has a Cloud Customer Connect link (a separate forum, not in charge of Oracle Analytics products). The right place for it would be https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/categories/idealab-oracle-analytics-cloud-server Your idea doesn't show in…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. You should consider posting your question in the forum covering the product you are using. Your question is about a Fusion product, it is covered in a parallel and independent forum: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect You will see it has lot of…

As far as I know, despite having "Reporting & Analytics" in the name, it is still owned by the Opera product, and isn't an Analytics product. I had a quick check online for an Opera forum, and there is one … fully empty, not sure what happened to it. Therefore I don't know where Opera is covered to be fair.

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Analytics and AI community and forum. I suspect you are in the wrong location for your question. Are you having a question about Opera Cloud? Or is your question about an Oracle Analytics product?

The easiest fix is by using the provided script to add permissions sets to your admin application role. It is documented in https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/security-oas/grant-or-revoke-permissions-assignments.html And you can also look at…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. Are you really on OAS 2025 as you tagged? Because you have "Roles and Permissions" in OAS 2025… Or maybe it's an environment where you imported a BAR from a older version and you are missing some permissions to see the page?

Ok, then you are using Fusion AI Data Platform (formerly FDI, and before that FAW). Will move this one there and close it as you posted the other one (Fusion AI Data Platform is an Oracle Analytics products, therefore it is still in this forum and not in CCC).

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community. Your question is in the wrong category, and probably the wrong forum… What product are you using? "PPM - Project Budget" matches with a subject area available in Fusion. Your question being about data more than the usage of the underlying technical product, you should…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community. You are in the wrong forum for your question. Oracle Fusion AI Agent Studio is part of the Fusion products. They are covered in a separate, and independent, forum: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect You will see there are a lot of categories, including many…

Hi, Welcome to the Oracle Analytics and AI community and forum. I suspect you are in the wrong place… Your question is about AI Agents inside your Fusion application, right? If yes, then you should visit Cloud Customer Connect, a parallel and independent, forum: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect It covers all…

Ok, so for the grand total labels, wait the March 2026 version, it should work there. (That's the one where I tested earlier today)

As far as I know, this is one of the many aspects where DV is very different than "classic". DV tries to drive you into selecting pre-defined formats, while "classic" let you select some predefined formats or enter your own format mask, therefore supporting the format for the missing value. Have you checked in…
