It appears to be an option in the Create Connection list in the latest version:

+1 someone raised this as well a few weeks ago and Oracle have said it's something they're working on

Is the Windows 10 Home a 32-bit machine? If so, according to: Oracle Data Visualization Desktop Downloads , Windows installations need to be on 64-bit machines. System requirements: * Operating System: Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) 7 SP1+, 8.1, or 10; Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2; Mac OS Yosemite (10.10), El Capitan…

You might want to open an SR for this as it works fine for me although I've only tested the new version on Windows 7.

Hi Filip There are differences between the DVD Windows & MacOS versions. I believe that the Windows version has all features. You could use DVD in a Windows VM on your Mac to get all features. The latest version of DVD also doesn't work on Mac OS high sierra by the way.

Did you follow these instructions?

Hi According to Oracle Data Visualization Desktop Downloads , DVD v4 is only compatible with Mac OS Yosemite (10.10), El Capitan (10.11), Sierra (10.12). Unfortunately it’s not compatible with High Sierra (10.13)

The path I sent contains scheduler log files: OBIEE_INSTANCE\diagnostics\logs\OracleBISchedulerComponent\coreapplication_obisch1 There is normally a nqscheduler.log and a log file for each agent which is named using the job id of the agent.
-
Have you taken a look at the Agent log files? There may be some clues in there. ORACLE_INSTANCE\diagnostics\logs\OracleBISchedulerComponent\coreapplication_obisch1

If you check the Oracle Analytics roadmap, there is a feature listed there which may meet your requirements. https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/cloud-and-server-roadmap.html

Thanks for the update on the idea and it's great to see the feature available in the tool.

Just echoing other comments, several clients have asked for this feature and this will help to fully automate the migration process between environments.
-
It would aid the visualsation of the changes over different attribute values. The range changes per value and this makes it harder to visualize the changes.
-
GUI UX has moved on considerably since the last refresh of the OBIEE dashboard interface.
-
The option was there in earlier releases. Users should have the capability to switch between classic and DV OAS pages.
