Can we look at drilling from GL Balances to GL Journal and then to Configurable account analysis ? We can use action links to drill from a Balance amount to the underlying Journal and from Journals to Configurable account analysis.

The drill is configured on the Segment Code. For example, I am attaching a screenshot where we can drill on Natural account Level 30 Code.

Are you not able to drill using the existing Natural account Dimension/Hierarchy in the out-of-the-box?

We do not allow modifying the existing SA. You can create a new SA based on the existing SA and then use the same to reorder (add new folders) it based on your requirements.

You can review the permissions for the Folder which provides information on the Duty roles assigned to secure the folder. You can then decide to remove those duty roles from your Job role in FAW to remove access to the out of the box folder/Object. Below is a screenshot for the Accounts Payable Folder.

Currently, we do not support Data Validation for Configurable Account Analysis. But you can do the following: Create a report against CAA and GL Details Transactions. The GL Journal Information should match between Configurable Account Analysis and GL Details Transactions.
