This would be a great feature to have, especially when workbooks are handed off to new developers to edit/maintain.

I agree, this is an extremely popular feature of classic reports for our users. We've used parameter prompts to try to mitigate this gap in DV reports but it doesn't deliver the same level of flexibility. For us, I would also add that being able to limit the columns which can be added (like in classic) would be important…

This would be very useful in enhancing workbook navigation capabilities.

Agreed, the autofit config is much easier to maintain but the new show/hide feature does leave an awkward "what is missing" blank spot. Thank you Avinash for keeping this in the backlog.

Great idea, might be a duplicate of https://community.oracle.com/products/oracleanalytics/discussion/21008/how-do-you-turn-off-annotations-by-default?utm_source=community-search&utm_medium=organic-search&utm_term=annotations

This would be very useful and reduce manual work after the export.

Agreed, this is a very popular feature in other analytics apps and would go a long way in driving user acceptance of OAC.

This will be of great help to us, thank you @Gabby Rubin-Oracle .

Thank you for the info, @Benjamin Arnulf-Oracle - I'm assuming this is in the January 2025 update since I don't see it in November 2024.

Agreed, we use this view often in Classic and need more than just the text box capability found in DV currently.

While the AI and other advanced analytics features are fantastic, I do feel that there are many basic gaps in creating data visualizations and dashboards that should be addressed (we have submitted several suggestions in the Idea Lab). Having some of these basic reporting features improved would, in our case, get us closer…

This would be a very useful feature.

This sounds more like a bug than an enhancement, and should be addressed by Oracle accordingly.
-
This would be extremely useful.

This would be a very beneficial feature, and hopefully it would be available for all visualizations including dashboard filters. Often we present our users with the same common dashboard filter viz across multiple canvases "in case" they want to change selections but this does take up valuable real estate for those who…

I really like the new design - I can delete all my other bookmarks that went to various pages which are now easily found through the one link now. Thank you for taking the time to make this easier to find info and resources.

This is awesome, thank you very much!

Hi Avinash, any update on this? Our users are only assigned BI Consumer for these workbooks. In our first release over a year ago we published these workbooks in Visualize mode for the users but this gave them too much control over deleting/adding filters, etc. In the current release we published these workbooks in Present…

@Federico Venturin is this feature still being worked on? In my testing it only exports the results of a DV table/pivot table as it was saved - so if you have users who are using canvas or dashboard filters to refine results, since they can't save the workbook the export to excel ignores any filters applied and just…
