Rate Calculation based on Age of Spouse or Partner

Inviting suggestions from Community Experts for below requirement and review on approaches tried so far:

Rate Calculation = (User Inputted Coverage Amount/10,000)X(Age Based Multiplier)

Eg. Partner's Age is 62, then Age Based Multiplier is 4.5; However is Partner's Age is 23, then Age Based Multiplier is 2.1

Approach Tried:

Derived Factor created to point at 'Person's Spouse or Domestic Partner'. This Derived Factor is attached to Participant Eligibility Profile built for Benefit Usage. This created eligibility profile is then tagged in Variable Rate, (eg. ABC Variable Partner Rate for Age 62). This Variable Rate contains multiplier value as stated above and logic used is 'Rate is Multiple of Coverage' (Coverage is also setup with input from User between range 10,000 to 30,000 that Colleagues select during enrollment). Variable Rates are created in similar lines for all Ages. All created Variable Rates are further attached to Standard Rate.

Howdy, Stranger!
